The White Chelsea Boots

If there is one thing you should know about me it's that I am head over heels in love with shoes. I own too many pairs than I can wear and I keep on purchasing more because when I'm in a shoe store I can't think of any reasons why not to purchase them.

It wasn't any different when I was in The Hague and popped into Topshop with a friend. I recently bought these bright pink suede boots on sale so we wanted to have a look and see if they still had them there. Well, we didn't find the pink boots, but I did find a couple of other stunning heeled shoes. There was a buy one get one free offer going on as well, so I added two more pairs to my collection, some Beyoncé worthy black buckle boots and these white Chelsea boots which make me feel like I am walking straight out of That '70s Show.

You might think: why would you ever buy white boots. They get dirty so fast and make your feet look enormous, and as those things are all true I just liked the way they looked so much that that outweighed everything else. They were also discounted from €120 to €45 and as I got the buckle boots (also originally €120) for free I was like heck yes. Add a cheeky staff discount and they were even more of a catch. But yeah, here I am posing my ass off in cold, but sunny, Amsterdam. I love the chunky heel and the Chelsea style and they make me transform from plain jane in a funky 70s icon in seconds. Crazy how shoes can make you feel like that.

Anyways, I will continue rocking these boots throughout the summer with a cute floral dress and a denim jacket. If by that time I have not found a new pair of shoes I am obsessed with and that honestly will be the case haha!

Have you jumped on the white shoes train yet?

The Kick Flare Jeans

A few weeks ago I wrote about my love for blue denim jeans and I briefly mentioned my kick flare obsession. Time to dedicate an entire post to the jeans that I can't live without: the kick flare!

Flares were a huge trend in the 70's and they are totally back. As a Dutchie that is in Amsterdam pretty much all the time, I have to say that they are definitely part of the Amsterdam girl starter pack -that pack also includes, a baker boy hat, some clear sunglasses and white Adidas sneakers- There is this pair of rib flare leggings that every girl in Amsterdam owns. Now I love flares too, but the kick flares are where it's at. They are cropped and make me feel more 'me' if that makes any sense.

The pair that I have been living in are the Topshop Dree jeans. I ordered a black pair last week, so I'm still waiting on that package to arrive -living in front of my door to not miss the mail man haha-. I went for length 32, wish I had gone for a 34 since it's freezing outside and my ankles are not made for this weather, but 34 is sold out online and not available in store, so I guess 32 is my only option. I also haven't really seen kick flares at other high street stores. Not that I've been browsing that much but when I occasionally search for them I can never find them. Not even on ASOS which is normally my holy grail store when it comes to every product that I possibly need in my life. -if you have seen kick flares that are not too expensive please help a girl out!-

Back to my current pair of blue Dree jeans, they are the comfiest thing and I love the fit of them. They are not mega high waisted which I like, because my dark blue pair from H&M cut right in my stomach when I sit down. The denim quality is really nice and soft and they don't stretch out too much. I haven't washed them yet, which I know is gross, but I'm a bit afraid of what they will do when I wash them. I have been so careful not dropping any liquids on them so for now I will leave them unwashed. Being as clumsy as I am it's quite an accomplishment that the jeans are still stain-free as I normally drop my food on anything but in my mouth, but hey I'm better at other things, like buying way too many jeans that I can possibly wear in my life. *insert the sassy emoji here*

You all know, you can expect a post about my black Topshop Dree jeans this #blogmas, since it will be the only pair of jeans I am going to put on my legs this December. Maybe then I will give washing these blue Dree jeans a go.

What is your favourite style of jeans?

- I checked the Topshop website, but this particular colour is sold out, so maybe try and check you local Topshop to hunt these babies down? I did link the black ones! -

The Light Blue Denim Love Affair

For many years I was the kind of girl that would always be seen in her skinny black jeans. I just adored my Topshop Jamie's and basically lived in them 24/7. This all changed at the beginning of this year when I slowly started to fall in love with blue denim. And not just any blue denim but loose fitted denim as well. I never thought I would ever say goodbye to skinny jeans, but the time has come that I can say that I'm not a big fan of those tight pants anymore.

It all started with a pair of mom jeans and now all I wear is kick flares, straight jeans and cropped wide denim. I love the flare trend and I own a pair of kick flares form H&M and Topshop that haven't left my sight since I got them. My Florence straight jeans from ASOS have also made quite the appearance on my Instagram, so I think I need to repurchase them in different colours, since I can't live without. They are just so comfy!

The reason why I never opted for any light coloured blue bottoms was that I thought black made my thighs look skinnier. And in ways it does. Black looks really flattering, goes with everything and doesn't draw as much attention to the area as blue denim does. I guess I was tired of my black ensemble and wanted to spice it up. Not that I hate black jeans now, because I have been eyeing up a pair of black Topshop Dree jeans that I 100% have to get.

My style has been changing a lot for the last couple of years and I think I'm finally happy with the ''style'' that I tend to go for. A rocky 70's, 90's vibe with lots of different prints, colours and textures. What's not to love about that? Maybe one day I will go back to my beloved black Jamie jeans, but for now it's time to say goodbye.

What is your favourite kind of denim?

Topshop Glow Pot in Polished

My make-up routine is not complete without applying a bit of highlighter to my cheeks. I love a radiant glow and have to admit that I sometimes go a bit overboard with it. I always say 'you can never have too much highlighter on your face', but yes, you can have too much highlighter on your face.

Because I love it so much (highlighter and lipsticks are my favourite make-up products to buy) I have a few in my stash to keep me going and I keep on buying them because why the heck not. One highlighter has always been on my wish list. Mainly because I saw how pretty it was when someone used it in a YouTube video and for that price I wanted to try it out myself. I am talking about the Topshop Glow Pot, which you probably already knew by the title of this blogpost. I still tried to build up the mystery though haha.

Now when you are looking for a shiny and pretty highlighter, this product is all that. The Polished colour has a golden shimmer, is very creamy, blendable and looks nice on tanned skin. Perfect to keep that summer glow alive when you got back from your holiday or live in a country where it rains most of the time -welcome to the Netherlands- . I mainly apply it before or after foundation on the tops of my cheekbones, bridge of my nose and the cupids bow. It gives you that insta make-up look without looking too cakey and you are definitely in control of how glowy you want to look.
I do think the pot is too small, since my fingers always pick up too much product, so if there is one thing I could change about this wonderful item it’s the packaging.

Topshop also do liquid highlighters now and they look absolutely define. The colour Misty will definitely be my next highlighter purchase, but I might have to control myself a bit since there is a limit to how many highlighter I can use at a time. Okay, I'm buying it anyways!

Have you tried any of the Topshop highlighters? Did you like them?

The Floral Skirt

It might sound strange but I have the craziest logic when it comes to season appropriate clothing. When it's hot and sunny, all I can think about is cosy autumn jumpers, fluffy winter coats and Christmas. And when it's snowing, super cold and miserable outside I start dreaming about florals, bare legs and getting a tan. This year wouldn't be the same without me craving hot chocolate and spiced biscuits in July but for this floral piece I'd like to make an exception.

When I saw it on display in Topshop I fell head over heels in love with the print and design of this skirt. I had seen skirts like this before, but there was something about the black, polka dots and florals that I couldn't resist. It's a very easy and floaty skirt. There is a zipper on the side and two ties that make the perfect bow and make it look a bit more fitted. I love pairing it with a plain white tee, oversized denim jacket and All Stars or Stan Smiths. I’ve also gotten lots of compliments on this skirt and it strangely makes my legs look tanner. I know this sounds weird but it might be the red florals complimenting my paleness or something.

The only thing that I'm not so happy about is that because it's so floaty it's not very cute when the wind comes. I tried to make it work but all it does is flash people even more, so when there is a tropical storm outside I will safely stick to my mom jeans instead. That doesn't mean I love them less though. I know without a doubt I will love this skirt next summer too!

What is your favourite floral clothing item this summer?

The LBD

There is nothing a little black dress can't fix. Especially with the recent temperatures I find myself in difficult situations because what do you wear that is breathable and still looks cute? My answer: a dress!
Floral prints are the usual thing, but since I have a love for the colour black, most of my dresses are, indeed, black. Today I want to show you two different styles of two dresses that I have worn a ton the last couple of weeks.

The first is a simple boyfriend tee with a deep cut-out v. I found it in Topshop for, believe it or not, 20 euros. How amazing is that? They also have one without the v which is a bit cheaper, but I loved this little detail and the fact that I don't have to cut it myself. Clumsy me will probably mess that up haha. I am quite tall too and this dress is not the longest but it works, even for me. I just have to make sure that I bend down gracefully without flashing anyone.

Speaking of flashing, this dress from Jutka & Riska has a shortness problem. I mean it works, but the dress underneath comes up to my butt. The upper layer covers everything perfectly though and I love the off shoulder, embroidery detail too much to not buy it. I just have to make sure that whenever the wind comes I grab the dress tight to avoid awkward situations, especially on the London Underground. -yup that has happened-
When I laid eyes on this dress I knew that I had to try it on. I loved everything about it. The fact that it's from a more independent brand, so it's almost one of a kind, the gorgeous embroidery detail at the front and back and the on trend off shoulder look made me like it a lot. Ooh and it was half price too, so I ended up paying 40 euros. Lucky me!

As you can see these dresses are almost the opposite of each other but are very special and unique in their own way. Perfect for those days where you have no idea what to wear.

Tassel Hem Straight Jeans

Lately I have small obsession with different styles of jeans. I was always a Jamie's kinda gal and I still am, but spicing up those skinny black jeans with something else for a change is kind of fun. That's why I went for almost the opposite of those tight skinnies: straight jeans.
Now straight jeans are a bit like Mom jeans in the way that they are a looser, but straight jeans actually look good on me and Mom jeans don't. The waist is way too big and my hips don't fit; aka the struggle of my life. I so wished I was a Mom jeans person.

A thing that most Mom jeans don’t have though is cute tassels at the bottom. I was so excited when I first tried these straight jeans on that I had a lonely dance party in the fitting room just to see the tassels go up and down. It's the little things in life isn't it?
Now that I actually own them the dance parties have gone down a bit, but I still love my jeans to bits. The whole casual but trendy feel is something I really like and I don't see my wide leg/straight pants obsession dying down soon.

I shot this outfit photo when I was in Copenhagen and oh my god how the weather can change in such a short time. Back then I had to wear a red jumper and big faux fur coat to actually not freeze to death and a few days ago I wore my fluffy slippers with these jeans because it was nice and sunny outside. See these jeans, so versatile as well!

Can't wait to pick up another pair of straight jeans and I’m going to give the Mom jeans another go. Maybe this time they will look good?

A Chatty Saturday

Catching up with friends is one of my favourite things to do. I have been lunching and brunching for the last couple of weeks and although my bank account is less happy with my splurges on food, my tummy says otherwise. There is just something about discovering new hip places, eating delicious food and reminiscing about the good ol' days and the exciting things to come.

On Saturday a friend and I went to a place down town for some food, ginger teas and hot chocolate. I decided to go for a comfortable outfit. Weekends screams comfort to me and also the fact that I felt crappy because it was that time of the month was why I went for my velvet wide leg pants from Topshop
What I like about these -there is a blazer as well, but I decided to separate the suit- is that they look incredibly stylish but are comfy too. I actually saw a stripy pair at H&M that has my name all over it and can't wait to try them on.
I combined my velvet pants with -surprise surprise- a Topshop jumper. Shall I say that working at Topshop definitely has its perks? I love the pop of red and although it's not that visible in the photo I am really wearing it underneath my big fluffy coat. I brought this coat with me on my Copenhagen & Sweden trip and I must say that I have fallen madly in love with it. I picked it up at a flea market last year but never wore it out as much. Copenhagen has definitely been a game changer for me on many things, including my love for bright blue leopard printed coats.
To make it even comfier I put on my Adidas Stan Smiths. I love wide leg pants with white sneakers, so I might have made a naughty purchase last night at ASOS and ordered another pair of Adidas sneakers. They had 20% off so I also looked at other stuff but I held myself together and only went for the sneakers.

Wide leg pants are definitely the key piece for me this spring/summer season. Comfy, stylish, perfect for cycling, typical Dutch weather and amazing for lunch dates with friends!

What are your thoughts on wide leg pants?

Big Topshop Haul January 2017

A new year means sale, and lots of it. I went into Topshop to have a look at their sale and saw way too many nice pieces. This haul is a mix of sale and non-sale and lot's of lovely items. I bought these really funky Jamie jeans, a velvet suit, chokers and some make-up bits. Hope you like it!

The Fringe Hem Jeans and Velvet Boots

Velvet always comes back every autumn/winter season and when I saw these black velvet boots from Topshop I was sold. They are surprisingly comfortable and look so amazing on. I’m very tall, but these boots give me even another bit of extra height and I really get the whole BeyoncĂ© vibe going when I walk in them.

Today I paired my velvet boots with a pair of Fringe Hem Jamie jeans from Topshop. I have been wearing the plain Jamie jeans for about four years and I was in the mood for a bit of a change. The fringe hem looks so nice and adds a lot of texture to the outfit. I have seen a lot of those fringe jeans on people and loved them immediately. That's why I was so happy to spot them in the Jamie version, because I hate looking for a new pair of jeans and Jamie fits me so well.

No surprise that I'm rocking my faux fur leopard coat to finish the look. It’s just so comfy, fluffy and warm. I really wear it all the time, even though I have three other faux fur coats hanging right in my closet. Next time I will give those a feature on here!

The Red Jumper

For a while I went for a black or white jumper. It's easy to style, looks great and is always in fashion. For this time of year I decided to take a step out of my usual style and rock a bright red jumper. I saw someone wearing it and thought by myself: I need that in my wardrobe!

This red jumper is from Topshop and has a high neck. Most jumpers that I own have a high neck because I love the way it looks and it keeps my neck warm. Not that I wouldn't pair this with a scarf, but a bit of extra warmth never hurts when the temperature drops.
The bright colour also looks so festive on. The only thing missing is a cute Christmas pattern and I'm good to go for this holiday season.
It's not your usual knitwear, in the way that the fabric is different, but I really like it. I find that the wool jumpers that I have, look fluffy very quickly and not in a good way. This one still looks brand new, and I've worn it A LOT.

I will definitely add more red items to my wardrobe as they immediately make such a statement. Christmas can't come soon enough!

Do you already own a red sweater?

The Flower Power Skirt

In the past couple of months I've really changed up my style and sort of got back to the high school me with all my colours and quirky items and given them a more grown up vibe. I still love my minimalistic black, white and grey, but a bit of colour won't hurt anyone.

When I saw this skirt in Topshop I was sold. I actually work there, so whenever a new item comes in I'm drooling and the fact that I walk past it a 100 times a day doesn’t help either: I just had to get it. I'm really happy I did though. The skirt fits perfectly around my curves and is not too big around the waist. The flowers make it more fun and give the basic black skirt a bit more sass.

I think it will last me long as well, since the flowers scream spring to me, but even that doesn't hold me back from wearing it with my cosy red Topshop sweater and over the knee boots from Public Desire, who btw are absolute babes as well. I mean look at them! They keep me warm and look so sexy. They definitely make me feel like Beyoncé when I put them on.

An embroidered piece like this is an absolute must in everyone's wardrobe this season. Jeans, boots, bags, skirts, you name it: everything has to have a touch of flowers. Can't wait to get the matching denim jacket as well. Or maybe that will be too much flower power for one look?

Do you already have an embroidered piece in your wardrobe?

The Faux Fur Leopard Coat

When all you want to do is stay in bed with a hot cuppa tea and a good book you know it's time for you winter wardrobe. For me this contains of chunky jumpers, velvet dresses and a snuggly coat. Last year, I was quite happy to find three winter coats on a flea market. I am normally really fussy about coats so I was over the moon when I finally found some good ones. And the price helped quite a bit too haha.

Now this winter time I didn't have my hopes up high. I already have a lot of lovely coats in my closet and I really didn't need another one. That's when I spotted this coat in Topshop. Since I work there I know exactly what is new and can snatch it away as soon as it’s in the store. That also happened with this coat. I saw it, tried it on and had to make the purchase. I have to say I'm quite happy I did. Leopard is a huge trend this A/W season and I see so many people rocking this style.

It was a big buy (€125), but it was all worth it. The coat is as soft as a teddy bear and I have noticed that I stroke myself sometimes. I know, I know, a bit weird, but with a coat as soft as this one you would probably do the same. I like the print since it's not your usual leopard print. Normally the brown colour is way deeper and warm. This on the other hand is light and a bit more cool-toned.

I definitely have a crush on leopard print and I can't wait to get more items with that funky edge. We have some amazing bags in as well that would totally match my coat. Or maybe I'll just wait for the winter sale, because I know there will probably be some lovely items for grabs there.

The Holiday Outfit

Top - Topshop
Pants - New Look
Shoes - Primark
Sunglasses - Quay Australia
Watch - Olivia Burton
Neck Tie - Primark (a bit hidden but it's there!)

When I was on holiday a few weeks ago I got really inspired. Both in the fashion and photography department. Having a friend with you that doesn't mind taking some snaps of you, as long as you do the same thing for her, really helps to step up your Instagram game.
I also loved to put new outfits together. It always rains here and it's never that hot so going to a country where the sun always shines made me extremely happy. And this way I could finally pull out all the summer clothes I never get to wear!

These flowy, black pants are from New Look and I love them a lot. I got them in London last year and they are such a versatile piece. Another item, that I also bought in London, are these sunglasses from Quay Australia. I wanted a pair like these for such a long time and when I finally got them I was over the moon. The platform shoes are from Primark and they really have been a savior for me. They are super comfortable and oh so stylish. Combine this all with a basic, white t-shirt from Topshop and a black bandana tie (a close up can be found on my Instagram) and you have the perfect black/white look!

Black and Grey

The past couple of months I have really changed up my style. Before I wouldn't be caught dead in a black, white & grey outfit, but nowadays I love it. There are actually only a few rare days where I pull something colourful out of my wardrobe.

Now this outfit really resembles my love for black, white and grey. I went to a flea market in Amsterdam (more on that in a later post) and they had this amazing graffiti wall, so of course an Instagram photoshoot had to happen. Was I freezing cold in this outfit? Yes, but at least it looked nice right?

Jumper: Kendall + Kylie for Topshop (I actually have blogged about this jumper before!)

Spring Lookbook 2015

Since we can finally say goodbye to the winter and enjoy the warm sunshine, I decided to film a spring lookbook. To be honest, the weather in The Netherlands has not been very sunny and warm, so if you are thinking: 'Why are you wearing jeans in every single outfit?' that's probably why.
I have also been very into black and white clothing. I love the minimalistic look and at the moment it just suits me better. My younger self is cringing by the thought of an all-black outfit (I used to be a walking rainbow), but I honestly quite like it. I made an exception with some brown accessories and a bright yellow pineapple skirt, but that's about it for the colours in my spring wardrobe haha.

I hope you like the video and let me know what your favourite spring fashion items are in the comments below! Ooh and don't forget to subscribe!

The London Haul + Vlog

As you all know I went on a trip to London a few weeks ago. I saw all the highlights of the city and of course shopped a lot. I rambled up all my adventures in a post that you can read HERE.
As a beauty addict I couldn’t leave the British drugstores unvisited, since there are many good products in there. I went a bit too crazy in Boots and Superdrug, I have to admit, but I got everything I wanted!
As for fashion, I also went a bit cray cray. I love the style of many British bloggers, so to actually go to Topshop, Primark and New Look was amazing!

Instead of doing a blog haul, I decided to make a video out of it. Making Youtube videos is something I always wanted to do, so here it is: My first ever haul!

A few things:
1. I had a bad hair day and putting it up in a ponytail clearly didn't solve the problem.
2. I say the words 'super duper' and 'love' a lot in this video. Mainly because I was super duper excited about London, but in the future I will try to not use them as much. :p
3. The quality is a bit off, but I am hopefully getting a new camera in the upcoming months! :)

A Day In Amsterdam

Amsterdam is a city that I have visited many times in my life and I still have a lot of secrets to discover. I love the freedom, the history and the creativity that surrounds the entire city. I always used to think that Amsterdam was not that special, but now that I know more about the world, I think it has its charm. I love strolling around the city to find cute cafĂ©’s and great Instagram opportunities.
You can wear anything in Amsterdam and no one will turn their head around if you wear something different. That is why I love cities in general. Everyone minds their own business and you are free to do whatever you want. Hopefully I will live there one day.

You might have seen this outfit before in another post, but I still wanted to show you this little clip. I had to make a video resume for school and I decided to also turn it into my first Youtube project. I really enjoyed filming this on the streets of Amsterdam and it felt less awkward than I expected it to be.

I hope to make more video’s in the future, since I really liked filming and editing it. So see here: My Day in Amsterdam!

My London Wishlist

If you have not heard it already: I am going on a city trip to London this Saturday. I have been excited about it for months and now that the trip is coming closer and closer, I cannot handle my excitement.
London is my favourite city in the entire world. I have been there three times before and every single time I fall in love with the city all over again. Because of all the British Youtubers, who stroll around London a lot, I found many new food places and pretty boutiques that I NEED to visit.
Me and my sister, who is my travel buddy for this trip, are going to the Harry Potter WB Studio Tour which is super exciting and I am taking my sister for a lovely high tea at Bea of Bloomsbury’s for her birthday. We have nothing planned for the other days, but I already know that we will have some jam-packed days ahead of us.
As for my wishlist, I have a couple of things on there. Last year I spent way too much money in London and this time around I want to keep it to a minimum. I am saying this now, but wait until I go crazy in Primark and Boots haha!
See here, all the lovely things that I just NEED to buy!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
This concealer is my everything! I love the colour, the coverage and the price. It is just so good for a drugstore concealer. Luckily my mom brought two concealers with here last summer. Unfortunately I lost one when I took a blog picture of it. I cannot find it anywhere *sad face*.

Revlon ColorStay Foundation
Being honest this was a love/hate relationship for me. I hated it at first. I bought the dry/normal formula when I obviously have combination/oily skin and it made my face look cakey. Until I went through my make-up stash and rediscovered the best foundation EVER! It is the perfect colour, it keeps oil at bay (surprisingly, since it is for dry skin) and it leaves the most amazing finish.

Topshop Jamie Jeans
They are my favourite jeans, so of course I need to buy a pair. I had one, but suddenly there was a huge hole, so I had to throw them out. I do have the black, ripped Jamie jeans, but with this cold weather I would like a pair that is completely ordinary.

Primark Turtleneck Sweater
So why did I used to hate these kind of sweaters and why do I want one so badly? They pop up in a lot of videos and they look so warm, comfy and cozy. I saw a turtleneck sweater in the ‘December Primark Haul’ from Becca Rose and it looked amazing! I cannot wait to go a bit mental in the Oxford Street Primark.

Pret A Manger Sandwich + LOLA’s Banoffee Cake
As a girl that loves food this is also on my wishlist. Last year I got introduced to the Avocado Chicken Sandwich from Pret and OMG it is so yummy. Definitely my favourite sandwich ever! And then I have not even begun about the cakes from LOLA’s. Everything in there is amazing, but the Banoffee Cake is delicious!

Of course I will show you everything that I got on the trip. In a post or in a video; I have no idea yet. I am also thinking about vlogging a bit of the trip, so you might get to see that too!
I will have no Wi-Fi the entire trip and for an internet person like me this will be hard, but also quit refreshing. I might pop into Starbucks once in a while to Instagram all my adventures, so you better follow me on there to see what I am getting up too. There are some posts scheduled though, so you can read those and I will be back in no time!

***Also if you have some London related suggestions like food places, Christmas markets or fashion hotspots that I need to visit, please let me know!***

Haul | Topshop and Primark Spring 2014

Even though it is really cold outside and the rain is falling down, I am so excited for spring. All I want to do is wear skirts with bare legs and sandals. Since the weather is not really working with me I have to wait. But this doesn’t mean we can’t go a little bit crazy in the shops, can we?

Topshop

First I made a purchase online at Topshop.com. I have seen these shoes for a while know. They are sort of becoming a blogger cult product and I thought they were really cute and comfy. They are the TIKA2 High Vamp Skaters in the black crocodile print. I really like them. I got them in size 39 and they fit perfectly. They were €26,00, which isn’t too bad for a pair of Topshop shoes.

Another pair I got was a sale purchase, so you can’t get these anymore. I knew they would be a love/hate thing, but I think they are fun and different. They are the MARTIE T Bar Geek Shoes in silver. I had seen these types of shoes for a while now. I originally wanted them in black, but since they were still the original price and these ones were in the sale for €13,00 I went with these ones. I contemplated a lot, but I am happy I bought them. Metallic is going to be big for spring and summer, so at least I already have my metallic shoes at the ready.
They are a size 39 and fit true to size. I love that they are different and a bit funky. I will get a lot of wear out of them this spring and summer.

Primark

Last Monday I took a trip to Primark. I knew I just had to go, because I haven’t been since December *gasps*. I managed to find some pretty nice things in there without spending too much money. My technique is: ‘Do I really need this?’ and ‘Am I going to wear it?’. Because it is so cheap you want to buy the whole store, but luckily I got to prevent that.
I bought three things. First of all, another pair of shoes. Since I don’t have enough shoes already, but these sandals are to die for. When my eyes fell on them I knew these had to be mine. You had them in white, tan and black/white. Since I am pretty pale myself I decided to go for the black/white pair. They were €13,00, which is a good price for a pair of sandals. I just love the contrast and the design of the shoe. They will be my spring/summer staple. Maybe I should get another pair just in case?

The next thing was a black beanie. I already have a purple/burgundy shade that I got in London. I find that this type of beanie suits me the best. Since black goes with anything I decided to put it in my bag. It was €3,00. So an absolute bargain if you ask me.

And the last and final item is this top. It is white textured fabric with pink kisses all over it. I already saw some Instagram pictures from Primark with items like this and I thought it was really cute. It was €8,00 and that is so cheap for a top like this. I got it a few sizes bigger than I normally wear. I find that it looks better when it is a bit oversized. I already see myself wearing this on a warm spring day with a cute skirt and my new sandals. Only the weather has to work with me right know. Please sun some out!

So that were all my new items. Is it bad that I have five items in this haul and three of them are shoes? Nevertheless I am really happy with all of them and I will wear them a lot.

Have you bought anything recently?
