Beauty | Maybelline Terre Indienne Bronzer/Blush

It is always excited to try new products. I stumbled across this new blush from Maybelline and decided to buy it. It is the new Maybelline Terre Indienne Bronzing Powder with Blush in the colour 09 Golden Tropics. (€13,99)

The packaging is pretty simple. It reminds me a lot of the Rimmel Stay Matte packaging. Not the prettiest, but of course it is about the product inside.

When opening, the scent immediately went into my nostrils. If you don’t like products that are heavenly scented, this is not the one for you. It is not a bad scent though; it smells a bit like baby shampoo to me..

On to the product! I like the design of the bronzing powder and the blush.  It looks very pretty! Also very handy when you don’t want to bring a lot of products with you. You have your two products in one kit!

They are both lightly pigmented for a sheer flush of colour. Both products have a very smooth consistency. They feel very buttery on the skin and blend in very well.
The bronzer has a light glow and is very sheer. If you have fair skin this would be great for creating that ‘touch of sun’ effect. If you have a darker skin tone I would not bother to even try this. It would not really show up on your skin. The blush is beautiful. It gives the skin such a lovely, sheer, coral flush.

Overall a nice, compact product. Handy because it has two products inside, but a bit of a letdown when it comes to pigmentation.

What are your thoughts on this product?

Perfume | Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream

A new addition to the Marc Jacobs family and I have to say: I love it! In May I was invited, for my internship, to go to the launch of the new Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream perfume. The minute I smelled the scent I knew that this was going to be one of my favourite perfumes.

We all know the classic Daisy perfume; this Daisy sister is dreamy, innocent and romantic. The scent is very light, fruity and floral. Especially in summer I love those sweet scents, but I know that even in autumn and winter I will spritz this dreamy perfume a lot!

It stays on for a very long time, which I find very important. Most of the time, you spray on a perfume and after a couple of hours you can’t smell the scent anymore. So annoying when that happens.. Luckily I can still smell the perfume after a long day!
Since I am not really good at describing smells other than fruity, floral, airy and super yummy; here are the notes:

Top Notes: Blackberry, Grapefruit, Pear
Heart Notes: Jasmine, Lychee, Blue Wisteria
Base Notes: White Woods, Musks, Coconut Water

Then I haven’t even spoken about the bottle design. It is so pretty! I love that the bottle is covered in daisies. The blue, white silver and gold colours look really nice together and enhance the romantic, airy look of the scent. I know that it will look amazing on my dressing table!

Do you want to pick up your own bottle? The perfume is now available in stores and online!

Eau de Toilette
30 ml               €49,94
50 ml               €66,61
100 ml             €91,06

Luminous Body Lotion
150 ml             €33,89

Refreshing Shower Gel
150 ml             €36,11

For me this is a nice addition to my perfume collection and I can’t wait to pick up more Marc Jacobs perfumes. The original Daisy and Lola are also on my wishlist! But for now I am so happy with this dreamy addition!

Food | The BEST Breakfast

I am usually not a breakfast kind of gal, but this porridge is so delicious that it might change my whole breakfast point of view. It started when I was very little that eating bread and eating in general was not my thing in the morning. Even now; when I don’t have time, especially on days where I have to get up early, I just skip breakfast. This is because I am not a morning person and I’d rather sleep for ten more minutes, than slowly do my make-up and have time to sit down and eat. Those days I just go for a granola bar or a banana.
On days where I have plenty of time, this is my go-to breakfast. It is really easy to make, it is super good for you and I am full for such a long time. Do you want to know how to make this colourful bowl? Keep on reading!

The almond milk makes it even creamier, all the seeds are super healthy and the cayenne pepper and ginger powder give your metabolism a huge kick. It is the perfect start of your day!

What do you need?
60 grams of oats
35 cl water
A generous splash of almond milk
A pinch of ginger powder
A pinch of cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon of agave nectar
1 tablespoon of chia seeds
1 tablespoon of flax seeds
1 tablespoon of hemp seeds
Red fruit; such as strawberries, blueberries and raspberries

Put the oats, water, almond milk, ginger powder, cayenne pepper, agave nectar, chia seeds, flax seeds and hemp seeds in a small saucepan. Turn up the heat and stir until it is almost boiling. Turn it to medium heat and keep stirring until it has the perfect consistency. Scoop it in a bowl and top it off with the red berries and maybe a drizzle of agave nectar. Enjoy this bowl of goodness!

Beauty | New Lip Products from GOSH Cosmetics

As a lip addict, I have a LOT of lipsticks, I was very happy to try out these GOSH lip goodies. A lot of them are coming out in The Netherlands this autumn, so if you're Dutch: keep your eyes out for them!

I have four lipsticks, two lip liners and a lip brush. My ultimate favourite is definitely the bright, pink lipstick. Instant Lipstick Crush right there!

The black, matte packaging gives it a very luxury feeling. I love it when cheap make-up product can give you that high-end feeling.
The lipsticks itself are very buttery and moisturizing. They are nicely pigmented, but don't expect a full swap of colour. They are not very long lasting. When you eat or drink expect to touch up a lot! But I do really like them. They make my lips feel amazing and the colours are so pretty!

From left to right: 162 Nude, 155 Innocent, 156 Romance and 157 Precious. € 9,49 each

From left to right: 005 Flirty Orange and 002 Antique Rose. €7,79 each

Then on to the lip liners. I am very happy with the orange colour, since I needed one. They are both very pigmented and apply nicely. They are waterproof and I can agree with this! I had to use a cleansing oil to get it off. I actually love this. This way my orange lips will last all day! This will be a killer combo with MAC Morange.

The lip brush (€6,49) is a nice addition to my lipstick club. I think you have more control of applying your lipstick. Especially with darker colours it can be a bit tricky.. But not any more!
