Haul | Bath and Body Works

So back in January I ordered these Bath and Body Works products. My friends brought them with here in June. I was really happy with all my products, but I wasn't really in the mood. It is summer and you think about summery scents not Frosted Cranberry and Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin.

Now that Fall is here I am really enjoying these products. The scents are amazing and I wish that Bath and Body Works just had a store over here.

What did I buy?

- Frosted Cranberry Candle
- Frosted Cupcake Candle (OMG this smells sooo good!)
- Winter Candy Apple Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel
- Warm Vanilla Sugar Moisturising Shampoo
- Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin Body Splash

I am in love with these candles. They smell so good. I haven't burned them though. Because when I do they will be gone and I can't go to the store and buy a new one. So I just smell them once in a while, haha.
The rest of the products smell amazing as well. I might do a review on the shampoo. So definitely look out for that!

What is your favourite Bath and Body Works product?

Review | Cetaphil Dermacontrol Foaming Cleanser

I know Cetaphil mainly because of YouTube. You see it in a lot of video's. I have never heard of it, because we don't have the brand here. That's why I was really surprised when I saw this in the drugstore. They had the cleanser and the moisturiser and I decided to try the cleanser first.

It is a foaming cleanser especially for the skin that is sensitive for acne. It is soap free, hypoallergenic and it doesn't clog the pores.

In the morning I use this to get all the dirt and oil of my face. In the evening I use this after all my other cleansers (updated skincare routine soon!), as one of the last steps in my routine.

I really like this cleanser. It is a nice foamy texture. My skin does not feel dry after using it, and I definitely saw a difference in less redness on my skin. As far as the less acne goes. I still get a blemish attack once in a while. But I think that chocolate causes that problem. I try to ban it, but it is sooo good!

Just a good cleanser, not amazing though but good for the price and what it does.

What is you favourite cleanser at the moment?

Haul | My new Red Lipsticks from CoverGirl

Almost six months ago one of my friends brought some beauty products with her from America. I asked her to bring a couple of things, because we can't get everything here. Like Bath and Bodyworks, Physicians Formula and CoverGirl. From the last brand I wanted some lipsticks.

I really like the music from Taylor Swift and also her red lip look. She is known to wear the CoverGirl lipsticks, so I started to search on the internet which colour she wears. I came across a lot of names, but Hot and Flame seemed to be the lipsticks that she actually wears. Then I also red that she mixed Red with Burn. So I also picked that one.

I thought that three red lipsticks were a little bit to much. You can only wear one right?
So after a lot of thinking I still decided to take all three of them. Because when can I buy them? I am not planning a trip to America soon, and I also really wanted the lipsticks because Taylor wears them.

So that was that and my friend actually managed to buy al three of them:

Flame, Hot and Burn

I absolutely love those colours. I am a red lipstick kind of girl so I can never have enough red lipsticks. I love Flame and Hot. Flame is more a soft red and Hot is a bright red. Burn is my least favourite of the three. It is more a red/brown colour, and it has glitter in it. I wouldn't wear that one as much as Flame and Burn.

 Flame, Hot and Burn

The pigmentation and lasting power of these lipsticks is amazing. You still see some red stripes on my hand of the swatches. Haha. I definitely recommend these ones. The colours are amazing, The pigmentation is good and they last forever on the lips.

What is your favorite red lipstick?

My Life | My day to Amsterdam!

Last week I had a shopping day with a friend. First, we went to Primark and after that we took the train to Amsterdam. We went shopping and ate at Vapiano. I really like Amsterdam. I go there everyday for school so it isn't that special. But it will still be one of my favourite cities in the world.

Jacket: Zara, Sweater: Forever 21, Pants: Topshop, Shoes: Ebay, Bag: Primark, Ring: Six

So I felt a Iittle bit like a tourist when I made all the pictures, but I had an amazing day and bought some really nice things. I loved those kind of days were you can just relax and not worry about school etc. I love exploring Amsterdam and this is just the beginning of it.

What have you been up to lately?

Things that I love | TV SHOWS

I love TV Shows. I have no idea why but I watch a lot of them. I just love it!

Here are some of my favourites:

Pretty Little Liars - ABC Family

I have been addicted to this show since I started watching it. You probably already know the story. But it is about five girls who were best friends until there friend Allison disappears  After a year she is found death and the girls get messages from someone called 'A' who wants to out all there secrets. (And believe me they have a lot of secrets!)

It is now in it's fourth season and things are a lot more complicated than they were in the beginning of the show. The finale was soooo shocking!! I won't give any spoilers, just promise that you are going to watch it!

Twisted - ABC Family

Twisted is a new series and I absolutely love it! It is about a 16-year-old boy called Danny (played by Avan Jogia) who murdered his aunt when he was eleven. After five years in juvenile detention he returns to his hometown, where a lot has changed. When one of his classmates gets murdered he wants to clear his name which isn't easy because of his history.

I think this show is really good. I really want to know why Danny killed his aunt and who killed Regina (his killed classmate) I do believe he didn't kill here but of course you never know.

The Fosters - ABC Family

The Fosters is about Lena and Stef, a lesbian couple who are raising Stef's biological son along with adopted twins Jesus and Marianna. Lena desides to take in Callie, a foster kid who had a lot of struggles in her life. This turns the family upside down.

I like that this show is real. It shows the 'real world' is some kind of way. The problems that this family goes threw are very true to life. I think this show is worth watching and when you do you will get addicted, I just know it! Haha

The Lying Game - ABC Family

Unfortunately this show is discontinued :(.
But I still think it is worth watching, or not because you will never get your answers which is really frustrating.

The series is about Emma a kind foster-kid who finds out that she has a twin: Sutton. Sutton is adopted by wealthy parents and has everything she wants. Sutton wants Emma to take her place while Sutton will go and look for there birth mother. When she doesn't show up at there meet-up, Emma has to make the decision to come clean about who she is and risk her own safety.

I loved this show, so I am so sad that The Lying Game isn't coming back next season. Now I will never get my answers. Especially in the end of season two the storyline was so good.

I will do another post about TV Shows, since this isn't all. :P

My Life | London 2013 in Food

Before we went to London, me and my friend had a list of restaurants and cafés where we wanted to eat. We went to a lot of them and the food was amazing! I definitely recommend all of them!

Sorry if this makes you hungry :P

Byron - Chicken Hamburger with French Fries

Breakfast: Giraffe - Avocado, Hummus, Roasted Cherry Tomatoes & Pesto on toasted artisan sourdough

Nando's - Chicken Pita with Fries

Wahaca - Guacemole with Tortilla Chips, Virgin Moijito and Plantain Taco (not on picture)

Jamie's Italian -  Honeycomb Canneloni 3 Ways and Tutti Frutti Lemon Meringue Pie

Carluccio's - Lasagna Tradizionale ( I forgot to take a picture of what I had, so this is what my friend ordered, I had Penne Giardiniera)

Giraffe - Stacked Blueberry & Banana Pancakes and my friend had the Daybreaker Omelette

We also ate a lot at Pret A Manger. I love the Chicken Avocado Sandwich! We wanted to go to The Breakfast Club, but we went there two times and both times there was a waiting line outside. So we decided to go to Giraffe. Where we had the best breakfast ever!

Do you have any food places in London that I need to try?

My Life | My Summer Holiday to London 2013!

In August I went to London with a friend. We had the BEST time ever! I love London so much. The city, the atmosphere, the people, everything! I have been there two times before so we did not really had to go sight seeing etc. Instead we went a little bit shopping crazy. And with that I mean really really crazy haha.
We did had some free time though, so we did do some sightseeing and went to Camden Lock Market. We also saw the musical Wicked. It was a holiday I will never forget!

Some bits and pieces I bought:

I am looking forward to December when we will go back. Aah you gotta love London! <3

How was you Summer Holiday?

London Drugstore Beauty Wishlist: What Did I Ended Up Buying?

Before I went to London I made this wishlist. I've been to London two times before. The first time I was there I just fell in love with the city. The atmosphere there is just amazing!

Since not all brands are available in The Netherlands (Revlon, Collection, NARS) I went a little bit crazy in the shops. Here are the beauty products that I wanted and what I ended up buying in the end:

London Drugstore Beauty Wishlist

1. Sleek - i Divine eyeshadow pallet in Au Natural
I did not get this one. The colours were not as pretty as I thought they would be.

2. Sleek -  Face Contour Kit
I did not get this ons either, Instead I got the Sleek Face Form which is just the same only that one has a blush.

3. Barry M - Nail Polish
Everyone seems to love these nailpolishes. They are really hyped up but the hype hasn't got to me yet. That's why I didn't get any. Maybe next time :).

4. Sleek - Face Form
This one I did get! I love it. The bronzer and the blush are really pigmented and the highlighter is gorgeous! I also love that you have three products in one kit, so handy!

5. Collection - Lasting Perfection Concealer
OMG! I LOVE this concealer sooooo much! I bought it in the colour 1 fair and it is a little bit light but when you work it in to the skin it looks really nice. It covers up my scars, acne and dark circles really well. I think I need to order some on Ebay because I am already running out and I can't wait to stock up on these in December when I go back!

6. Revlon - Lipbutters
I picked up three of these: Candy Apple, Wild Watermelon, Juicy Papaya. De colours are beautiful. It is a mix between a lipstick and a lipbalm. Definitely worth the hype. I will definitely pick up more!

7. Revlon - Colorstay foundation for combination/oily skin
I sort of picked this up.. Do any of you have the problem that when you buy tights you sometimes don't even look at the size (this happens to me all the time). That is what happened with me buying the foundation. I have been looking at this foundation all week. When I bought it I just picked up the right colour and thought that I bought the combination/oily formula. Instead I picked up the dry/normal formula. Of course I found out about this when I was back home. I tried it on but I looked really cakey. I will buy the right formula when I go back to London.

8. Topshop - Lipstick
It was so busy at Topshop that I quickly looked at the beauty department. But I decided not to buy anything.

9. Real Technique - Brushes
I picked up the Expert Face Brush. And I love it so much. It works in my foundation really well. Definitely worth the hype. I want the Blush Brush soo bad. So that will definitely be my next buy!

I am really happy with all  the products I ended up buying.

Did you buy any new make-up products this summer?

My Life | Where Have I Been?

It's been almost a year since I started this blog. It was a way for me to share my passion about beauty, fashion and lifestyle. After a while I just did not have any idea what I needed to post on here. I felt like I needed to post every day which sometimes made me post quick boring stuff.
Then school started to become really busy and stressful and I could not find the time to write posts etc.

In July when school started to come to its end I looked at my blog and I saw that I still had views. Not a lot but I was really pumped that people actually red my blog. Even if I didn't post for almost a half year.

This summer I had time to relax and think about a lot of stuff. I worked a lot, but also made time to relax and go to the beach. I went to London which was the highlight of my holiday.
My blog came to my mind a lot. I feel like when you start a blog you need to post regularly and not once in a while. So it was either to continue it or delete my blog. I decided to continue with my blog. I changed the name from CocoBlue to MissCocoBlue. And I have a fresh mind full with ideas. I will put post up 3-4 times a week. This way I can combine it with school. And my posts actually make sense.

I am also thinking about maybe doing YouTube. I have some video's ready but I am not sure yet. Uploading videos of yourself to the web is a really big scary step for me. So I will keep you updated on that.

I hope you all had a lovely summer holiday and I will talk to you soon!
