Haul | Make-up: Max Factor & Catrice

So remember last year’s haul where that awesome deal, of 50% discount on all make-up, came in my life? Well it is back again! Today was the day and even though I didn't need a lot, I still went there to score some amazing beauty goodies.
Let's go on and find out what I bought. Shall we?

Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara in Black Waterproof
This is the BEST mascara EVER! I have used it for quite a while now and I just can't find one that is better. Maybelline The Rocket Mascara in Black Waterproof comes close, but I just like this one more. It makes my lashes so long, full, curly and black. Panda eyes are also not a great look on me, so I am happy that this mascara keeps that to a minimum.

Catrice All Matt Plus Powder in 010 Transparent
If you have seen my other haul you will remember this little one. I believe I was a bit skeptical about it, but I have to say it is an amazing powder. It keeps my skin matt and doesn't make me look cakey. I do need some touch ups during the day, but I blame my combination/oily skin for that.

Catrice Prime and Fine Eyeshadow Base
Eye primers are a huge life saver for me. Without them I wouldn't bother putting on eyeshadow, because it will melt of my eyes within an hour. I needed a new one so I decided to try out this one from Catrice. As you can see I like Catrice products hehe.  It is a creamy consistency and reminds me a bit of the Maybelline Color Tattoo's only this has no shimmer in it at all. I am looking forward to trying this one out with all the new eye shadows I got for my birthday!

Catrice Lash Brow Designer
The brow fever got me as well. I have to admit I just love brows. I envy people with a good pair and I wish I could just steal them. Of course that is not possible so I try to fake it a bit. I do have to admit my eyebrows aren't that petit, but I just want them to be bigger and fuller. I had been eyeing a clear brow gel for a while, so why not try it when it is 50% off? I already know this will be one of my favourite eyebrow products. In combination with my eyebrow powder from Catrice this will become my killer eyebrow duo!

So that was everything I bought this time. Have you tried any of these products?

My Life | Justin Timberlake 20/20 Experience Concert 2014

Last Friday me and a friend went to the Justin Timberlake 20/20 Experience concert in Arnhem.  If you’ve read my Beyoncé Concert post from almost a month ago you will think huh another concert?! They just all seem to take place in the same period of time haha.
I was really excited, mainly because we had really good tickets. We were standing at the front separated from the rest of the crowd. I could almost touch him!!

Justin started on time, which hardly ever happens nowadays. This was already a plus for me. He sang a lot of old hits and also new numbers from his 20/20 experience albums. My Love, Senorita, Mirrors, Tunnel Vision and my personal favourite: Let The Groove Get In. He all sang them.
I already liked Justin before I went to his concert but after his performance... OMG I just love him so so much. His dance moves are to die for and he sang really good live. There was a small break in between the show, but that didn't spoil the fun. I have never been so close to the stage before so it was amazing! It was a really long show as well. It started at 20.30 and ended at 22.45. The tickets were really expensive, but it was all worth it. It was a good show, very entertaining and Justin was just amazing! It is all a bit of a ramble this post haha.

The photos will give you an impression of the night ;).

My Life | Birthday Haul: MAC, Zoeva, Chanel etc.

Last Saturday was my birthday. I am twenty years old right now (!) and I am not a teenager anymore :(. But to be honest, I have not noticed anything at all and it wasn't something I was extremely dramatic about. When I hit 30 this probably will be the other way around haha.

Anyways, I wanted to share my goodies with you. I have been spoiled a lot by my friends and family and got some amazing things! I waited a while with this post, because I still need to get a present from my sister. But I will update this post when I get it!

My mom and stepdad gave me Chanel Coco Mademoiselle perfume. It is my most favourite perfume EVER! I still have a little bit left in an old bottle, so it was time for a new one.

My friends gave me almost everything from my list! I have a big group of friends, before you all think five people bought this for me hehe. They tricked me with saying that they bought nothing from my list and I believed them; typical me haha. Anyways I am sooooo happy with all my new make-up products and make-up brushes. Excuse the dirty brushes but I had to use them immediately on Monday and I hadn't had time to make photos of everything before that day.

I got:
MAC Lipstick in Morange
MAC Lipstick in Crosswires
MAC Eyeshadow in All That Glitters
MAC Eyeshadow in Ground Brown (a friend especially picked this one out for me :) )
MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NC15
Zoeva 101 Luxe Face Definer Brush
Zoeva 105 Luxe Highlight Brush
Zoeva 142 Concealer Buffer Brush
Book: The Fault In Our Stars by John Green

For the rest I got two shower gels and a lot of money and gift cards :). The lady at the beauty counter gave me a Chanel make-up bag when we bought the perfume. I needed a make-up bag so it comes in really handy!

I feel so happy and lucky with all my family and friends and I love every single thing! Look out for a review overload from all my make-up goodies!

I also want to share something with you all. I started my internship last Monday! I am an intern at a Dutch beauty blog called Beautyandthe.com. I will write beauty and health articles and do all of their social media thingies. It is really exciting and fun and I am so happy that I will be interning there till the first of August. I will still write for my own blog and all, so you are not getting rid of me hehe.

I hope you all have a lovely Eastern this weekend! Love you all!

Beauty Trend | Orange Lips

Photo's: Pinterest
Every season has its own trends. Some are amazing and others are just horrifying. I have to say I am a trend following girl. What I like the most is putting my own twist on things. Here in Holland we are really behind in trends. I was wearing Disco pants two years ago and just recently you see that people buy them as well. Same goes for maxi skirts, crop tops, dolly shoes and skate shoes.

Anyways, when it comes to beauty I do not really follow trends. I normally just wear the same look every day. I’d rather stay in bed, than spent ten extra minutes on my make-up. I need my sleep oke :p. There is just this one trend that caught my eye. At first I didn’t think I was going to fall for it, but it caught me.

Left to right: Etos Lipbalm, MS 051, MS 053

Of course I am talking about the orange lip. It looks bright and scary, but is so easy to create. I am still looking for the perfect orange lipstick. I am eyeing MAC Morange lipstick and Rimmel In Love With Ginger Lipstick. They just seem the perfect bright fun orange lipstick. Because even Rimmel can be too expensive sometimes (€10,99!!) I went looking for a cheaper option. Lucky as I am I came along a Miss Sporty counter. And I was even more luckier there was a 1+1 free offer going on.

I decided to pick up two: 051 Bubble Gum and 053 On Fire! They are both gorgeous orange tones lipsticks. Bubble Gum is a little bit lighter. They are not dry at all and give a nice finish to my lips. They do not last all day, but for 1,99 each they are pretty good.

Another one that I already have in my collection is a lip balm type of thing. It is a dupe for the Clinique Chubby Sticks. Every make-up brand does them these days and I am sure you can find one similar to this one. Since this one is from a Dutch drugstore.

Etos Lipbalm

MS 051 Bubble Gum

MS 053 On Fire!

As you can see the colours all look amazing. On the photo's my lips do not look that bright, but in real life they are very orange. Also excuse my baby hairs on top. I absolutely hate them. If anyone has a tip against that pleaaaase tell me :).
I am still eyeing MAC Morange though. I am hoping I will get it for my birthday, since it is on my wishlist (hint hint hehe).

Will you rock the orange lip this spring/summer?
