Review | L'Oréal Paris Studio Line TXT Sprays

As you know I have a love/hate relationship with my hair. At the moment I am totally in love with it, but there are times I really want to cut it off. The reason for all the love is the purchase of these two sprays. I have tried them out for a while know and I have to say they are two affordable hair beauties.
Texturized hair is an IT thing in the beauty department right now. I love it as well. I always look at blogger photos and think: How do they get there hair like that? I may have taken a step in the right direction with these two.

The two sprays in question are the:
L'Oréal Paris Studio Line #TXT06 Wave Creating Spray
L'Oréal Paris Studio Line #TXT07 Volume Texturizing Spray

You can use them both separately but work best together. Let take a closer look at them shall we?

L'Oréal Paris Studio Line #TXT06 Wave Creating Spray
According to L'Oréal Paris it is supposed to immediately make waves in straight hair. It is non-heavy and non-crunchy. You shake it up, spray it on damp hair, twist strands of hair around you finger and blow-dry them.
I have used this method that is on the Dutch packaging and it doesn’t really work. I do get wavy hair but not as much as I would like. I spray it in my hair and it does give texture, but I feel like there is so much more potential for my hair with this product. I just haven't found the right way to work with it yet.

L'Oréal Paris Studio Line #TXT07 Volume Texturizing Spray
According to L'Oréal Paris this immediately gives texture and amazing volume to your hair. It is non-heavy, non-stiff, non-crunchy and brushable. You separate your hair into four parts. Spray every part generously and scrunch you hair. Do this till you get the desired effect.
I really like the volume it gives my hair. It gives it that matt and messy hair look. The only cons are that it doesn’t last all day. I have to scrunch my hair a lot threw the day to have the same effect as I did when I left the house. Also I find that it makes my roots slightly greasy through the day. But for the rest I think it is an awesome product and it gives my hair the volume and texture it needs!

I really think textured and volumized hair suits me, so I am happy there is finally a drugstore edition. Even though I am still lurking for the Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray, but for now this works just as well.

Have you tried any hair texturizing products lately?

Food | Yummy Breakfast: Muesli, Greek Yoghurt and Red Fruit

Since I started the year 2014 healthy, I decided to share this quick breakfast idea with you all. I have eaten it for the past week and I have to say it is so delicious.
I just love how quick and easy it is and still tastes good.

I am really starting to enjoy eating and making breakfast. So look out for more healthy and yummy recipes the upcoming weeks.
I might also have made a very yummy caramel chocolate cake, which isn't as healthy, but you know sometimes you have to live a little. But on to this healthy recipe:

Ingredients
Muesli
Flaxseed
Greek Yoghurt
Frozen Blueberries and Raspberries
Honey

You just put all the ingredients in a bowl and enjoy it, that’s how easy it is. Because of my new Instagram addiction I used this particular order of ingredients to make it look nice for the photo.
Right now I am mixing up this recipe: adding dried cranberries and using soy yoghurt instead of Greek yoghurt. I am trying to live diary-free because I feel my skin looks better this way. You can also use fresh berries, but frozen once are cheaper. So I just wait till my breakfast is unfrozen :-).
Talking about Frozen, have you seen that movie? I just love it! I have seen it for the third time today and it is my favourite Disney film EVER.

What do you eat every morning?

Beauty | My Favorites of 2013

In a year a lot of beauty products come out. I have tried so many, also a lot of UK products, since I went to London in the summer. These are my most loved products from 2013.

Stila in the Light Pallet
A cheeky purchase in London and OMG I love this pallet so much. Kitten is by far my favourite of them all; it is such a pretty shimmery champagne colour. You can create a lot of looks with this pallet. Total love for this one and I can't wait to use it in 2014.

MAC Pallet
I finally decided to buy a MAC pallet, and it is the best thing I ever did. The pallet itself was pretty expensive and, when you think about it, so are the eyeshadows.
I own Naked Lunch, Satin Taupe and Cranberry, they are the most beautiful colours ever, the pigmentation is great and I can't wait to buy more MAC eyeshadows in the New Year. The ones on my list are: All That Glitters, Omega and Charcoal Brown.

Max Factor False Lash Effect in Waterproof Black
I have always loved the Max Factor Masterpiece Max mascara and this one is even better. It makes my eyelashes so long and curly. Also something I prefer: I don't look like a panda at the end of the day.

MAC 217 Brush and Real Techniques Expert Face Brush
Two hyped up brushes and they are totally worth it. The 217 is amazing for applying eyeshadow and blending it out. And the RT brush is the BEST brush I ever used for foundation. It blends it in so smoothly. This makes applying my make-up so much easier.

Sleek Face Form Kit
This is such an easy kit to have. You have three products in one: a bronzing/contour powder, a highlighter and a blush. I use the blush and highlighter the most in the pallet. It is perfect for travelling, since you have three products in one kit. And it is cheap as well, what more do you want?

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
This product has sadly died. I completely ran out and I want more. I decided since it is such a huge loved product I would still conclude it in my favourites. It gives the best coverage ever, it is easy to apply and it doesn't make me orange. BEST CONCEALER EVER!

Neoderma Blue Blood Gel

This had been a late discovery for me. I have been doing the Neoderma treatment for almost two months now and it completely changed my skin. I have no break-outs whatsoever. My skin feels smooth and acne free. My scarring is still there, but that is just something that has to fade away. I love this gel. I feel this really helps my skin to get back to its old self.

My Life | New Year Resolutions and Highlights of 2013

Via Pinterest

At the beginning of a new year everyone always has resolutions they want to succeed. I am no different and have New Year’s resolutions every year, but somehow I never complete them.
This needs to change and I feel like my mindset is finally right to actually make them happen in 2014. Also putting them up here might help, since it will be kind of a fail if I didn’t succeed them at the end of 2014.

Resolutions

Eating Healthy
This is something that everyone has on its list but I really want to make it happen. I already eat very healthy, but I need to step up my game. No processed foods and NO chocolate. I allow myself to eat something ’’bad’’ once a week.

Working Out
Not very original, But this year I really want to work out. Before I go on holiday in July/August I want to be fit and ‘beach ready’. I have to work out at least three times a week. This can be anything: jogging or doing some work-out videos on YouTube.

Saving
I have a little issue with saving. There are just so many nice things out there, but saving is also really important. I want to save €60, - a month. This way I still have money to buy nice things.

Work Hard on School
I have a habit to wait with homework. Especially learning for exams is not one of my favourite things. This means I always learn the day before I have the test. This causes stress and many moments I say to myself: ‘Why didn’t you start months ago?’ I don’t want this anymore. I want to get good grades, so I will work hard and start early on my school to-do list.

Be more outgoing
I have never really been the party girl. I really want to change that. I went out on NYE and I really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun. I want to go out at least once a month. This maybe doesn't seems like a lot, but for me this is huge.

Highlights of 2013

London
Last summer me and a friend went to London. I have been so excited and then it finally happened. I was 14 when I first came to London and I immediately fell in love with the city. So coming back now that I am older was amazing. We shopped a lot, went to Camden, visited our list of cute restaurants and lunch café’s and did the sightseeing stuff. I came home with a lot of clothes and make-up and had the best time EVER!

Beyoncé
I was so excited for this. I am huge Beyoncé fan, so seeing her live was incredible. Fun fact: She is coming again this year. Any guesses who has tickets?? :)

Things to look forward to

Concerts
I am going to a lot of concerts, I am so pumped to see everyone live!
-          - Beyoncé
-          - Justin Timberlake
-          - One Direction

Summer Holiday 2014
Me and a friend are going together. We have no idea where we are going yet. As long as there is sunshine, a beach and a nice temperature I am happy.

What are your new year’s resolutions?
