L'Oréal Paris X Balmain Lipstick in 469 Fever

This post has been long in the making. I pre-ordered this lipstick because I was really excited about the collection, then I was so busy with my thesis that I couldn't wear it because I had to take photos first –blogger struggles-. And now the lighting is so bad outside that every time I want to show you the way it looks on my lips it's too dark. Anyways, here I am with a full review of one of the nicest colours from the L’Oréal Paris X Balmain collection.

It was quite hard for me to decide which lipstick to pick. Since I wanted to not spend all my money on the entire collection I set my eyes on just one. Better said than done when you are a lipstick junkie like me. After spending a lot of time looking at swatches and colours I ended up choosing the colour 468 Fever. A warm red orange colour that got my attention right from the start.

First of all, I LOVE the packaging of these lipsticks. I would not expect any different as mister Balmain himself, Olivier Rousteing, designed them. There are three different themes in this collection (Safari, Rock & Couture) and each theme has their own colour. As this lipstick is part of the Safari collection, the lipstick comes in green marble and gold packaging. It complements the orange colour so well and it looks really luxurious. Especially with the Balmain logo printed on the side.

The lipstick is supposed to be matte and although they are a mattifying on the lips they don't come near the Colourpop matte liquid lipsticks. Personally I’m a bit done with the Kylie Jenner liquid lipstick trend -even though I have about 25 liquid lipsticks- so I don't mind that. I love how natural these kinds of lipsticks can make your lips look in comparison to the liquid form. It doesn't mean I will never wear liquid lipsticks again; I just need a break I think.
The Fever lipstick is really easy to apply and the orangey red colour has a good pay off. The pigmentation is good and with one swipe I have a full orange pout. It lasts as long as many other lipsticks I own. It won't budge when you don't eat or drink, but since this is me it's quite impossible to not eat and drink all day, so touch ups are definitely necessary.
I always get so many complements when I wear this lipstick. It makes me look awake and happy without being too out there as some orange lipsticks can be a bit too crazy. I mean I love me some MAC Morange but not on a daily basis. In summer maybe, but in winter it's a big no no for me.

Fever is definitely a lipstick that I will wear more often. It's a perfect all seasons kind of lipstick, it stays on very long, looks good on a lot of skin tones and you'll probably get lots of complements. What's not to like? The collection has been out for a few months now, but I did see them at the L’Oréal counter when I was in London a couple of weeks ago. You have to check them out if you haven't already. Or just have another look, because the other shades are also to die for!

Have you tried any lipsticks from the L'Oréal Paris X Balmain collection?

Burberry Lip Mist in Trench Kiss

A couple of months ago I picked up this Burberry Lipstick in a beauty sale. Since then I've used it multiple times and I'm finally ready to give you my thoughts.

Let's start with the packaging of this Burberry Lip Mist which is absolutely gorgeous. The gold feels so luxurious and the Burberry print gives it something extra. It closes with a magnet -see how crazy I get about that here- and overall it's one of the best looking lipsticks I own. The Burberry print doesn’t stop there because the lipstick is covered in it. Such a lovely detail!

Now the lipstick is actually a Lip Mist, which means that it gives a light sheer tint to the lips. The colour Trench Kiss is a beautiful nude and is the ultimate ‘your lips but better shade’. I usually apply this lipstick when I want something natural that always looks good. It's moisturizing as well which is perfect with these cold festive days. Not as long-lasting as I wish it to be, but because it's a sheer nude you won’t really notice it that much.

A lovely everyday lipstick that is perfect on those natural 'I just woke up' days. A bit expensive maybe, but because I bought it in a beauty sale it was quite affordable. I also found out that they discontinued this little beauty but I still wanted to write about it since I love it that much. Let's hope Burberry brings it back!

NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Vintage

The leaves are falling down and the temperature drops, which can only mean one thing: sweaters and dark, burgundy lips! I have quite a few of these lipsticks in my stash but I decided to pick up one more, because it's not like the rest. Yes, my name is Marjolein and I'm a beauty addict, can ya tell?
I bought the NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Vintage when I was in Brighton and whilst I thought it was more of a brown colour it turned out to be a dark plum with a mauve undertone. Sometimes a swatch in the store just isn't enough. Besides the fact that I was a bit disappointed about the colour fail I still gave it a whirl.

The formula of this liquid lipstick reminds me of the Kat von D liquid lipsticks. It has a liquid consistency and because it’s a bold colour it can be hard to apply. The pigmentation is really good and one coat pretty much gives you the best matte pout in the world.
It dries fast and that's where I started to not like it as much. The lipstick started to crumble on the inside of my lips. I tried to bite it away -I know it's not the best solution here, but a girl's gotta do something without the possibility of going to the bathroom to check her make-up- but that only made my teeth look weird, because there were lipstick crumbles everywhere.
Besides this small detail I did like the finish. It didn't crumble on the rest of my lips which is a common problem for me and the lasting power is also quite good. Of course you need a touch up after a hot chocolate and some delicious nachos, -I had a catch up with a friend yesterday and that's what we had. Best combo EVER!- but every lipstick I tried needs a touch up from time to time, so I'm not too fuzzy about that.

For a drugstore liquid lipstick I think the NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick is really good. The Kat von D one still wins every single time, but you also pay a bit more money for that. For €8,80 I think you get a very good deal: it’s long-lasting, gives good coverage, but does crumble a bit. NYX also has a lot of fun colours for this lipstick, so I think I will pick up those next time, because what's life without a fun colour on the lips?

The Holiday Lipstick Haul

A couple of weeks ago I was on holiday in Bodrum with my friend Hester. Besides soaking up some vitamin sea we also went shopping in the city. I didn't buy a lot, mainly because I didn't need anything, but when I walked past a Turkish drugstore you know I can't contain myself. They had lots of products that I can get in the Netherlands too, but when my eyes fell on the Wet 'n Wild counter I went a bit crazy.
This has resulted in three Wet 'n Wild lipsticks and one Golden Rose liquid lipstick. The girls that worked there probably thought I was a bit cray cray, because why do you need four lip products? That is indeed a very good question that I can't really answer. I just love lipsticks!

Ever since the Kylie Jenner lip kit hype I want to try liquid lipsticks. I really like this red one from Golden Rose in the colour 09 and I immediately wore it the same day when we went out for dinner. I will write a full review and put it up on the blog but all I can say for now is that the pigmentation is very good. After a while it does crumble a bit which I am not the biggest fan of. I must wear it multiple times to make up my mind about it though.

The three Wet 'n Wild lipsticks I picked up are: 'Cinnamon Spice', 'Cherry Bomb' and 'In The Flesh' (on the photo from left to right). The fact that I own many red lipsticks didn't make me change my mind about picking up some more. I love the burgundy tone of 'Cinnamon Spice' a lot. I actually couldn't swatch them in the store so I had to guess what the colours would look like and I think I picked the most perfect shades. I haven't tried them yet, but a review will be up soon!

Have you tried anything from Golden Rose or Wet n' Wild?

My MAC Lipstick Collection + Swatches

Over the past couple of years I have collected lots of makeup -take a peek in my make-up drawer here- , but the ones I cherish the most are on top of my beauty table in a copper glass box that I got from a local store. All my six MAC lipsticks are in there too and today I am going to show you those in a video. I swatched them on my lips - my lips were not so happy with this - so you can see what they look like on and I tell you a bit more about the formula and my absolute faves that you need in your life too! Hope you enjoy watching it and don’t forget to subscribe!

Burberry Beauty Haul

Last Saturday I went to a beauty sale and as someone who is obsessed with anything beauty related I was extremely excited. I bought quite a lot of products with a huge discount (haul video coming soon!) and even before my video goes up I want to show you the two most exciting purchases of them all: a Burberry lipstick and Burberry nail polish!

Burberry Beauty always looks so pretty when I see it making an appearance in YouTube videos and on blogs. The only problem is that it's a bit expensive so when I was looking through all the makeup and saw these two beauties I knew that they had to be mine. I picked up the Burberry Lip Mist in Trench Kiss and a Burberry nail polish in Stone. Both colours are very nude and wearable which I like a lot because I am planning to wear these babies non-stop. They were also 10 euros each which is such a bargain!

I can't tell you much about them because I haven't even tried them out yet. Reviews of these lovely products will go up very shortly and I can't wait to tell you what I think of them! Stay tuned!

The Best Red Lips for Christmas

When you have all these Christmas parties to attend to - or when you are snuggling up on the couch to watch Home Alone, aka my life #granny -  it's nice to spend a little bit more on your make-up. I find that a red lipstick can immediately pull a look together and it makes me feel so festive and Christmassy. I have quite a few red lipsticks in my make-up drawer and decided to share my faves!

Catrice - Behind the Red Curtain
This is the newest addition to my make-up stash. I was one of the lovely gals to test this out and I do really like it. It's a very bright red and because of the long-lasting power it stays all day. I am actually wearing it in my profile pic on Instagram, so if you want to know what it looks like on my lips, head on over there.

Tanya Burr - Lets Travel the World
Sometimes you are just in the mood for a bit of gloss. This one from beauty vlogger Tanya Burr is perfect for that. It gives a subtle hint of red and makes your lips look really glossy and full. It won't stay on when you are eating your yummy Christmas dinner, but that's what touch ups are for, right?

CoverGirl - Hot Passion
The main reason why I asked my friend to pick up this lipstick on her trip to the USA was because, rumour has it, this is Taylor Swifts' lipstick. I love her red lip colour, so why not get the exact same one? It's a bright red that is very creamy and stays all day. Definitely one of my faves that I should wear way more! * And I got that red lip classic thing that you like *

Rimmel - Kate Moss 107
This matte lipstick is so lovely. It's a bit darker than your typical bright, Christmassy red, but oh boy I love it so much. It has been my go-to fall lipstick and I think it's going to be one of my winter favourites too.

Maybelline - Pleasure Me Red
A couple of years ago, my mum actually bought this for me as a Secret Santa present. We went shopping together and as we were at the drugstore looking for make-up she asked me if I had seen something I liked. I already knew that she had to buy something for me, so I basically picked my own present haha. I still use this lipstick quite a lot and the red colour is amazing. Not too bright and not too dark, just perfect!

MAC - Riri Woo
This limited edition lipstick has to be my favourite of all. The packaging is gorgeous and the lipstick itself is amazing. It's matte and it really lasts all day. I wore it last Christmas and after eating A LOT of food my lipstick was still perfect. I think this will be my go-to lip colour again this Christmas!

What is your favourite Christmas lipstick?

Nude Perfection

Nude lips have always been one of my favourite things. I have quite a few other lipstick colours in my make-up collection as well, but nothing can beat a good nude lip. Recently I picked up a Maybelline Color Drama lipstick. This is basically a matte lipstick in a pencil.
Now matte lipsticks are my absolute favourite. I find that they last longer, look better and make your lips look a bit bigger. I love the Kylie Jenner lip trend and if you can fake it with a matte lipstick, why not?

The colour I picked up is called 'Nude Perfection' and it really is perfection. The formula of this lipstick is so creamy and the pigmentation is on a whole new level. Even though it is a matte lipstick I don't find them drying at all and with this cold weather that is definitely a plus.
It's not as long-lasting as I hoped, but I find that with a nude lipstick it doesn't show as much anyway if the lipstick is still on your lips. Then there is one other thing that I’m not really a fan of and that is the packaging. I’m to a point where I really need to sharpen the pencil and I always hate to do that. This basically means that I have to throw away half the pencil, because sharpening pencils isn't my best quality. I'd rather see this product with a twist up mechanism like the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms

Other than that it really is a lovely product and I can't wait to pick up another one. The red lipstick looks very gorgeous too and with Christmas coming up, a bold red lip is an essential!

Have your tried the Maybelline Color Drama lipsticks already? What are your thoughts?

Estée Lauder Kendall Jenner Lipstick in Restless

I will just come forward and say it: I love Keeping Up with the Kardashians. It's my all-time guilty pleasure and I love seeing their day-to-day life. When Kendall came out with her Limited Edition lipstick for Estée Lauder I thought it was very pretty, but I wasn't totally obsessed. Then I saw some videos on YouTube and I really felt like I was missing out. I love matte lipsticks and this lipstick just seemed drop-dead gorgeous.
It was still in stock on the website (lucky me), but paying €32,00 for a lipstick was a lot for me. By the time I made the decision I wanted to have it anyways, it was sold out. The next day I checked the website probably a million times to see if it miraculously was back in stock and at 7pm the words ''Sold Out'' had disappeared. I immediately ordered it and it was one of the best decisions I ever made.

It's actually the first luxury lipstick I've owned in my life and I can't be happier about it. I have a couple of MAC lipsticks, but it's just not the same. The packaging is gorgeous. It is a matte, dark-blue with gold and Kendall's signature is on the top. There is a magnet in there, so when you want to close it, it snaps right into place. The lipstick itself is such an amazing colour and I don't own anything like it. It's red with a hint of orange and the matte consistency is just perfect.
It goes on very smooth and the pigmentation is amazing. It does rub off a bit when you drink or eat, so make sure to reapply a couple of times during the day. My lips also haven't been in the best condition and, as with every matte lipstick, it does show. So make sure you scrub your lips and moisturize them properly before you apply it.

I think this is one of the best beauty purchases I ever made! It's one of those classics that, as a beauty addict, you just need to have! Also if you want to see the lipstick in action, a Kendall Jenner Inspired Make-Up Look will go up very soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that! (update: the video is live and you can watch it HERE)
(sorry for the random make-up in the photo. I just filmed the make-up tutorial and had to take some quick shots for the thumbnail (and this post) and totally forgot to get it out of the shot.)

Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms

As you would’ve seen in my London Haul I went a bit crazy in Boots and Superdrug. During these crazy shopping trips I picked up two Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms in the colours ‘215 Shameless’ and ‘225 Sultry’. Two beautiful lip products that are currently my favourites. I got them both for free, because there was a deal on Revlon products at the time. I already took pictures of them, but I wasn’t happy with the outcome. Then I got my new camera two weeks ago, so I decided to photograph them again!

Since the Kylie Jenner lip trend I just love those matte, nude colours. So I was hoping Sultry would be the perfect match. It’s a bit darker and pinkier than I expected it to be, but I still love the colour.
I picked up Shameless mainly, because there were no other colours that I liked. I already have a lot of reds and pinks in my collection, so a purple is something different. I actually like the colour a lot. I love bold lips, so this beauty is right up my alley!

Sultry

Shameless
They are both very easy to apply. They both have the same consistency and scent. When you apply the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm, a minty scent goes straight into your nostrils. In the beginning I had to get used to that, but I quite like it now. Both colours are very pigmented and longlasting. Even though they are matte formulas I don’t find them drying at all. Normally I need to apply a thick layer of Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream before I go to sleep, because my lips are dry and flakey after a matte lip day, but luckily those days have changed!

If you like a good matte lip then I would definitely recommend these Revlon Matte Balms. When I go back to London (and I hope this is very soon), I will have a look at the Revlon counter and look for more Colorburst Balms!

Beauty | New Lip Products from GOSH Cosmetics

As a lip addict, I have a LOT of lipsticks, I was very happy to try out these GOSH lip goodies. A lot of them are coming out in The Netherlands this autumn, so if you're Dutch: keep your eyes out for them!

I have four lipsticks, two lip liners and a lip brush. My ultimate favourite is definitely the bright, pink lipstick. Instant Lipstick Crush right there!

The black, matte packaging gives it a very luxury feeling. I love it when cheap make-up product can give you that high-end feeling.
The lipsticks itself are very buttery and moisturizing. They are nicely pigmented, but don't expect a full swap of colour. They are not very long lasting. When you eat or drink expect to touch up a lot! But I do really like them. They make my lips feel amazing and the colours are so pretty!

From left to right: 162 Nude, 155 Innocent, 156 Romance and 157 Precious. € 9,49 each

From left to right: 005 Flirty Orange and 002 Antique Rose. €7,79 each

Then on to the lip liners. I am very happy with the orange colour, since I needed one. They are both very pigmented and apply nicely. They are waterproof and I can agree with this! I had to use a cleansing oil to get it off. I actually love this. This way my orange lips will last all day! This will be a killer combo with MAC Morange.

The lip brush (€6,49) is a nice addition to my lipstick club. I think you have more control of applying your lipstick. Especially with darker colours it can be a bit tricky.. But not any more!

Beauty Trend | Orange Lips

Photo's: Pinterest
Every season has its own trends. Some are amazing and others are just horrifying. I have to say I am a trend following girl. What I like the most is putting my own twist on things. Here in Holland we are really behind in trends. I was wearing Disco pants two years ago and just recently you see that people buy them as well. Same goes for maxi skirts, crop tops, dolly shoes and skate shoes.

Anyways, when it comes to beauty I do not really follow trends. I normally just wear the same look every day. I’d rather stay in bed, than spent ten extra minutes on my make-up. I need my sleep oke :p. There is just this one trend that caught my eye. At first I didn’t think I was going to fall for it, but it caught me.

Left to right: Etos Lipbalm, MS 051, MS 053

Of course I am talking about the orange lip. It looks bright and scary, but is so easy to create. I am still looking for the perfect orange lipstick. I am eyeing MAC Morange lipstick and Rimmel In Love With Ginger Lipstick. They just seem the perfect bright fun orange lipstick. Because even Rimmel can be too expensive sometimes (€10,99!!) I went looking for a cheaper option. Lucky as I am I came along a Miss Sporty counter. And I was even more luckier there was a 1+1 free offer going on.

I decided to pick up two: 051 Bubble Gum and 053 On Fire! They are both gorgeous orange tones lipsticks. Bubble Gum is a little bit lighter. They are not dry at all and give a nice finish to my lips. They do not last all day, but for 1,99 each they are pretty good.

Another one that I already have in my collection is a lip balm type of thing. It is a dupe for the Clinique Chubby Sticks. Every make-up brand does them these days and I am sure you can find one similar to this one. Since this one is from a Dutch drugstore.

Etos Lipbalm

MS 051 Bubble Gum

MS 053 On Fire!

As you can see the colours all look amazing. On the photo's my lips do not look that bright, but in real life they are very orange. Also excuse my baby hairs on top. I absolutely hate them. If anyone has a tip against that pleaaaase tell me :).
I am still eyeing MAC Morange though. I am hoping I will get it for my birthday, since it is on my wishlist (hint hint hehe).

Will you rock the orange lip this spring/summer?

Review | The Nude Edition: Rimmel Nude Delight Lipstick

For fall I always have two make-up looks: natural eyes and a dark lip or heavy eyes and a nude lip. I do not own a lot of nude lipsticks, I think I have two of them, so I felt like I needed a new nude favourite in my live.
Nude lipsticks are so quick and easy. You do not need a mirror to apply it and it always looks good. It is 'your lips but better'.

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Nude Delight. In store for EUR 9,99.

I've seen this one in a couple of YouTube videos and decided to pick it up. Normally lipstick can dry your lips out. That's why I normally go for lipbalm. Quick, easy and always looks good. This one however is also very moisturising which is nice with the cold winter months coming up.

The Moisture Renew Lipsticks by Rimmel are very hydrating, they have a SPF 20 and vitamins A, C and E to protect your lips even more.

At first I have to say I love the packaging. It is a metallic purple with silver detailing.
The lipstick has a gorgeous peachy nude colour. It has no glitter in it, for me personally I prefer it like that. I do not really like glitter on my lips. It reminds me of the lipglosses at the childrens section you see sometimes.
The pigmentation of the lipstick is really good. One swipe of this on and your good to go. It doesn't dry out my lips. Of course you need to reapply it once in a while.
Honestly I do not really know if it is very longlasting. Because it is a nude, it is not very noticeable when it's gone.
I do really like this lipstick, but I still have another nude which is still number one for me: Catrice Ultimate Colour 190 The Nuder The Better. I am really curious to other colours of the Rimmel Moisture Renew Collection. In the UK they added ten more colours to the range. I am really looking forward to Glam Plum Fulham, since it is know as a MAC Rebel dupe.

(A little update I saw some of the new shades in the drugstore! Yeeeh!)

What is you favourite lipstick this fall?

Review | Riri Hearts MAC: Riri Woo

So last week the Riri Hearts MAC Fall Collection came out. I immediately set my eyes on the lipstick Talk that Talk. Unfortunately is couldn't get my hands on it. But I did managed to get my hands on the famous Riri Woo lipstick
Riri Woo is pretty similar to the Ruby Woo lipstick. But I just wanted something from the Riri Collection, the packaging was just to pretty!

MAC Riri Woo Lipstick - €20 - 3g/0,1 oz

The packaging is rose gold and has Riri <3 MAC written on it with a big R that is the same as on her Rated R album. Isn't this just to die for?

On to the lipstick itself. It is a gorgeous matt cool red lipstick. It has Riri written on it which is a nice detail. The colour itself is amazing. The pigmentation is also really good. I have a few matt lipsticks in my collection and normally they make my lips very very dry. This one does not do that. My lips feel a little bit dry, but I think that is the matt formula. Just put a lipbalm underneath and you will be fine for a couple of hours. Personally I think it is suitable for all skin types. It is just the perfect red matt for all occasions.

Haul | My new Red Lipsticks from CoverGirl

Almost six months ago one of my friends brought some beauty products with her from America. I asked her to bring a couple of things, because we can't get everything here. Like Bath and Bodyworks, Physicians Formula and CoverGirl. From the last brand I wanted some lipsticks.

I really like the music from Taylor Swift and also her red lip look. She is known to wear the CoverGirl lipsticks, so I started to search on the internet which colour she wears. I came across a lot of names, but Hot and Flame seemed to be the lipsticks that she actually wears. Then I also red that she mixed Red with Burn. So I also picked that one.

I thought that three red lipsticks were a little bit to much. You can only wear one right?
So after a lot of thinking I still decided to take all three of them. Because when can I buy them? I am not planning a trip to America soon, and I also really wanted the lipsticks because Taylor wears them.

So that was that and my friend actually managed to buy al three of them:

Flame, Hot and Burn

I absolutely love those colours. I am a red lipstick kind of girl so I can never have enough red lipsticks. I love Flame and Hot. Flame is more a soft red and Hot is a bright red. Burn is my least favourite of the three. It is more a red/brown colour, and it has glitter in it. I wouldn't wear that one as much as Flame and Burn.

Flame, Hot and Burn

 Flame, Hot and Burn

The pigmentation and lasting power of these lipsticks is amazing. You still see some red stripes on my hand of the swatches. Haha. I definitely recommend these ones. The colours are amazing, The pigmentation is good and they last forever on the lips.

London Drugstore Beauty Wishlist: What Did I Ended Up Buying?

Before I went to London I made this wishlist. I've been to London two times before. The first time I was there I just fell in love with the city. The atmosphere there is just amazing!

Since not all brands are available in The Netherlands (Revlon, Collection, NARS) I went a little bit crazy in the shops. Here are the beauty products that I wanted and what I ended up buying in the end:

London Drugstore Beauty Wishlist

1. Sleek - i Divine eyeshadow pallet in Au Natural
I did not get this one. The colours were not as pretty as I thought they would be.

2. Sleek -  Face Contour Kit
I did not get this ons either, Instead I got the Sleek Face Form which is just the same only that one has a blush.

3. Barry M - Nail Polish
Everyone seems to love these nailpolishes. They are really hyped up but the hype hasn't got to me yet. That's why I didn't get any. Maybe next time :).

4. Sleek - Face Form
This one I did get! I love it. The bronzer and the blush are really pigmented and the highlighter is gorgeous! I also love that you have three products in one kit, so handy!

5. Collection - Lasting Perfection Concealer
OMG! I LOVE this concealer sooooo much! I bought it in the colour 1 fair and it is a little bit light but when you work it in to the skin it looks really nice. It covers up my scars, acne and dark circles really well. I think I need to order some on Ebay because I am already running out and I can't wait to stock up on these in December when I go back!

6. Revlon - Lipbutters
I picked up three of these: Candy Apple, Wild Watermelon, Juicy Papaya. De colours are beautiful. It is a mix between a lipstick and a lipbalm. Definitely worth the hype. I will definitely pick up more!

7. Revlon - Colorstay foundation for combination/oily skin
I sort of picked this up.. Do any of you have the problem that when you buy tights you sometimes don't even look at the size (this happens to me all the time). That is what happened with me buying the foundation. I have been looking at this foundation all week. When I bought it I just picked up the right colour and thought that I bought the combination/oily formula. Instead I picked up the dry/normal formula. Of course I found out about this when I was back home. I tried it on but I looked really cakey. I will buy the right formula when I go back to London.

8. Topshop - Lipstick
It was so busy at Topshop that I quickly looked at the beauty department. But I decided not to buy anything.

9. Real Technique - Brushes
I picked up the Expert Face Brush. And I love it so much. It works in my foundation really well. Definitely worth the hype. I want the Blush Brush soo bad. So that will definitely be my next buy!

I am really happy with all  the products I ended up buying.

Did you buy any new make-up products this summer?

My Sephora Haul

Last week I went to Sephora with a friend. The reason: a 3 for €10 sale on all Sephora make-up.
I had been there before and it was crazy. Everybody was digging for the right colour of make-up and my friend was like: ‘Oke.. I will hold your bag and good luck.’ In the end I bought a foundation, compact powder, mascara, blush, nail polish and a primer. All this for just €20!

This time the sale was 3 for €10 on everything, only the foundations and mascara's were 2 for €10.
I already made a list in my head of all the products I wanted: a blush, lipstick, primer and highlighting powder.
When we stepped foot in Sephora, it wasn't as crazy as two years ago. Of course I went on a Thursday and not on a Saturday, but they also changed it. There were not a lot of products to choose from, which was really disappointing. I still managed to find some nice products and looked at other brands.

I immediately went to the Benefit counter; I just love their products and packaging. A lady from Benefit tried the They're Real mascara on me. I already wore another layer of mascara, so the result was not that amazing, but you could definitely see more volume!
I was thinking about what I should buy: the They're Real mascara, the Dandelion mini box (the blush, lipgloss, High Beam and Cha Cha Tint) or go to the Benefit Brow Bar, since I always wanted to go there. In the end I decided that my eyebrows needed a serious wax, so Benefit Brow Bar it is!
I never really knew what to do with my brows. They always looked sort of uneven; at least that is what I see. So time to let a professional take care of them!

You will hear all about my Benefit Brow Bar experience in another blog post, but first the products that I bought:

Sephora Blush in N° 06 Corail Rosé/ Coral Flush
A nice coral blush with gold glitter
Sephora Smoothing & Brightening Concealer in N°01 Clair/Light
This concealer is even lighter than my foundation. It is almost white, so I am really happy with it. For me that is hard to find!

From left to right:

Sephora Rouge Lipstick in R20 Honey
A pretty peachy nude color.
Sephora Cream Lipstick in R19 Charmer
A pink peach color.
Sephora Cream Lipstick in R12 Sexy Game
A lovely old pink color.
Sephora Cream Lipstick in R23 Crush
A gorgeous Berry color.

I am really happy with the products I got and I will definitely go again in February/March!
