My MAC Lipstick Collection + Swatches

Over the past couple of years I have collected lots of makeup -take a peek in my make-up drawer here- , but the ones I cherish the most are on top of my beauty table in a copper glass box that I got from a local store. All my six MAC lipsticks are in there too and today I am going to show you those in a video. I swatched them on my lips - my lips were not so happy with this - so you can see what they look like on and I tell you a bit more about the formula and my absolute faves that you need in your life too! Hope you enjoy watching it and don’t forget to subscribe!

The Best Red Lips for Christmas

When you have all these Christmas parties to attend to - or when you are snuggling up on the couch to watch Home Alone, aka my life #granny -  it's nice to spend a little bit more on your make-up. I find that a red lipstick can immediately pull a look together and it makes me feel so festive and Christmassy. I have quite a few red lipsticks in my make-up drawer and decided to share my faves!

Catrice - Behind the Red Curtain
This is the newest addition to my make-up stash. I was one of the lovely gals to test this out and I do really like it. It's a very bright red and because of the long-lasting power it stays all day. I am actually wearing it in my profile pic on Instagram, so if you want to know what it looks like on my lips, head on over there.

Tanya Burr - Lets Travel the World
Sometimes you are just in the mood for a bit of gloss. This one from beauty vlogger Tanya Burr is perfect for that. It gives a subtle hint of red and makes your lips look really glossy and full. It won't stay on when you are eating your yummy Christmas dinner, but that's what touch ups are for, right?

CoverGirl - Hot Passion
The main reason why I asked my friend to pick up this lipstick on her trip to the USA was because, rumour has it, this is Taylor Swifts' lipstick. I love her red lip colour, so why not get the exact same one? It's a bright red that is very creamy and stays all day. Definitely one of my faves that I should wear way more! * And I got that red lip classic thing that you like *

Rimmel - Kate Moss 107
This matte lipstick is so lovely. It's a bit darker than your typical bright, Christmassy red, but oh boy I love it so much. It has been my go-to fall lipstick and I think it's going to be one of my winter favourites too.

Maybelline - Pleasure Me Red
A couple of years ago, my mum actually bought this for me as a Secret Santa present. We went shopping together and as we were at the drugstore looking for make-up she asked me if I had seen something I liked. I already knew that she had to buy something for me, so I basically picked my own present haha. I still use this lipstick quite a lot and the red colour is amazing. Not too bright and not too dark, just perfect!

MAC - Riri Woo
This limited edition lipstick has to be my favourite of all. The packaging is gorgeous and the lipstick itself is amazing. It's matte and it really lasts all day. I wore it last Christmas and after eating A LOT of food my lipstick was still perfect. I think this will be my go-to lip colour again this Christmas!

What is your favourite Christmas lipstick?

My Favourite Highlighters

I'm a huge face make-up lover. While other girls might be obsessed with eyeshadow, eyeliner and all that jazz, I can't get enough of blush, bronzer and highlighter. I love to buy them and since I use them daily I have a few favourites at the ready.

The MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle
A must for every beauty obsessed person. I used to see everyone rave about this MAC product on the interwebs and finally decided to take the plunge and buy it on Heathrow Airport. I mean who doesn't love a bit of duty free shopping right? It's really what everyone says it is. The sparkly sheen is just amazing and I love that glow. It's definitely my most favourite highlighter out all of them!

Chanel Camelia de Plumes highlighter
When I saw images of this highlighter popping up on Instagram last year I knew this had to be mine. I mean look at it! It was quite expensive (I looked it up again and it was €56.00. Let's forget about this quickly shall we?). But it's so gorgeous. The entire packaging has the Chanel feeling and the beautiful flower print is to die for.
Confession time: I actually don't use it as much as the other ones, because I don't want the flower to fade, but when I do, it gives the most gorgeous, cool toned sheen!

Physicians Formula Shimmer Strip in Vegas Strip
I have never set foot in America, but thanks to my lovely friends I do have some products. One of the reasons why this Physicians Formula product was on my wish list, was because it’s apparently a dupe for the Dior Amber Diamond Highlighter and since that one is freaking expensive (we are just going to forget the fact that I spent €56.00 on a Chanel highlighter) and available everywhere expect in the Netherlands I went with this dupe. (I just found out that the Dior highlighter is not even available on the Sephora website anymore. *sad face*)
I like the multi-functional use of this product. It's great for eyeshadow, bronzer and highlighter, but it's definitely more of a summer product for me. Since I am the palest person on the planet I do tend to go for more pale pink/silver colours, but this one gives a lovely sheen and blends in very nicely.

What is your favourite highlighter?

My Spring Make-Up Look

The sky is blue and the sun is shining; this can only mean one thing: spring is finally here. I am very happy with the warm sunshine on my skin and the happy colours that go with it. I do really like snuggly sweaters and a dark, purple lip, but the cold weather is something that I do not like at all. I am happy that I can finally pull out my bright lipsticks and sandal shoes to complete my spring look.
That’s why today I have filmed my Spring Make-Up Look. I have been wearing this look non-stop and I am in love with the blush and the lipstick. They are both amazing!

I make new videos every week, so I you want to see more please SUBSCRIBE, so you will know when I upload a new video!

What's In My Make-Up Bag?

I have many make-up products, but my favourites and my most used products are obviously in my make-up bag. I bought this make-up bag a couple of months ago and it sort of represents my love for macarons, and make-up of course.
I am always interested in what other people use. From a peek in their make-up bag you can immediately find out what their miracle products are for flawless skin and voluptuous lips. Today you will get a peek in my make-up bag and find out which products are my faves!

GRWM Winged Liner Make-Up Look

Lately I have been very inspired by a few fashion bloggers. Their make-up is always on point and their outfits are fabulous. Negin Mirsalehi is the girl that inspires me the most and I LOVE her make-up. I think her winged eyeliner looks amazing, so I decided to try something similar. A couple of weeks ago I went to a b-day party and I always love to put a bit more effort into my make-up when I am going to a party, so I decided to get the perfect winged liner, similar to Negin’s.
Can I just say that winged liner is so hard to do. Matching them took ages, but in the end I managed to get two ‘sort of even’ lines above my eyes. I also used the Revlon Matte Balm in Sultry from my last post. This results in a lovely look with a Kylie Jenner vibe.

So see here my GRWM Winged Liner Make-Up Look:
(Disclaimer: Taylor Swift’s album was on repeat, so I am sorry in advance haha)

'Bad Skin Day' Everyday Make-Up Look

Today I wanted to talk about something that has been a big insecurity of mine for the past 7 years. Ever since I got my first blemish my skin got worse and worse, especially in the years when I was 16-20 years old. I have a lot of scarring, redness and break-outs that keep coming back.
Since November 2013 I have been getting facials every single month and this really helped to improve my skin. It still didn’t solve the problem, but it made it a bit better. Last December I was introduced to a wonder product. I call it that, because believe me it is THE BEST! This product is called Gladskin and I will do a full review of it on my blog soon, but this product really helped to fix all my skin problems.
A couple of weeks ago I did get a few break-outs and I filmed this video. I mainly filmed it because I had time to film and I really wanted to film an ‘Everyday Make-Up Look’. While editing it I saw that my skin wasn’t the best. I contemplated a lot if I should upload it or not and it has been on private for about two weeks now.
In the end I decided to put the video on public, because overall I am quite happy with how it turned out, when it comes to the editing part. The only problem is my skin and some of you might think that I should not worry about it. Maybe your skin is way worse or you just don’t care, but for me this was and still is a big obstacle. I decided to overcome this by uploading it and maybe helping some of you along the way.

While I am typing this my skin is actually pretty good and I filmed a new make-up look yesterday which I still have to edit. It will hopefully go up soon! :). That video will also be the last video with sucky video quality, because I got a present from my dad and it’s a Canon 700d! I cannot wait to film loads of videos for you, but for now here is my Everyday Make-Up Look on a ‘Bad Skin Day’!

The Blush Ensemble

When it comes to blushes I am a bit of an addict. There is something about those bright coloured powders and creams that make me very happy. Since then I have a lot of blushes in my collection, but I keep going towards my faves.

The Estée Lauder Pure Color Illuminating Blush in Tease is an absolute beauty. It is a limited edition and I am happy that I have it in my make-up drawer. This blush gives a beautiful, illuminating sheen and a light pink flush to the cheeks. I just love the packaging and this is definitely my favourite in the spring time.
Now on to the gorgeous pattern of this Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow & Mood Boosting Blush in Natural. A friend of mine picked this up for me when she was in the US. Something about those hearts make me love the product even more. I swirl my brush around all the coloured hearts and it gives a sheer, pink flush to the cheeks. Very pretty indeed!
For fall and winter time this is my go-to blush. Frankly Scarlet by MAC is a classic for me and it gives my cheeks the ultimate winter flush. I did an entire post about this beauty that you can read here.
During my London trip in 2013 I picked up my first ever NARS blush, so this one is very special to me. Deep Throat is super pretty and definitely a must when it comes to blushes. I love the pinky, coral sheen it gives. Perfect for any time of the year!

What is your favourite blush?

The Matte Brown And The Peachy Glitter

It was only last year when I bought my first MAC eyeshadow. I had been obsessed with MAC for a while and I decided that it was time for me to make my own eyeshadow palette. I got two gorgeous colours: Satin Taupe and Naked Lunch. Two beauties that I still love to pieces.
Today I have two new additions for my palette: All That Glitters and Ground Brown.

ATG has been on my wishlist for a while now. It is one of those eyeshadows that everyone has: a ‘If you are a beauty addict you NEED to have this’ kind of eyeshadow.
I love nude colours, so this is right up my alley. It is an amazing, peachy eyeshadow with a subtle glitter that blends very nicely. I do prefer Naked Lunch over ATG though. Naked Lunch is more subtle, les shimmery and is the perfect everyday eyeshadow. That does not mean I do not like ATG, it is just not my favourite.

Ground Brown is specially picked out for me. A friend of mine is a make-up artist and thought this colour would be perfect for me. It is a pretty, matte, brown eyeshadow. Perfect for a subtle definition at the lash line or as an addition to a dark, smokey eye. This eyeshadow is also very smooth and blends like a dream, so I am very happy with it.

There are still a few spots left in my MAC palette, so Santa if you read this you know what to get me!

Red as an Apple

As a child I was obsessed with Disney films; I still am to be honest. The magical world and the gorgeous dresses made me want to be a princess. Unfortunately for me, that never happened, but I can at least still look like one.
Snow White's flushed cheeks are a perfect look for this winter and since I am very pale, it could not have worked any better.

Which blush makes you look like a Disney princess, you say? Well it is one by MAC and it is very pretty. ‘Frankly Scarlet’ is a classic when it comes to blushes. Every fall and winter time I see it pop up in a lot of videos, so time for me to discover this bright looking blush.
This beauty is a matte, powder blush that blends like a dream. It is very, I repeat, very pigmented. So beware before you apply it. Otherwise your cheeks will look like you just went for an intense work-out instead of the desired ‘I just went on a walk in the snow’ flush. Since you need just a tiny bit, this blush will be in your make-up drawer for a very long time. It will also be the perfect Christmas party essential, since it will stay on your cheeks no matter what happens!

I have definitely found my beauty pick for the holidays. Is it not crazy how fast the year went by? I cannot wait for Christmas Day and eat lots of food and watch a bunch of Christmassy films on TV. Maybe they will even play Snow White?

Beauty | New Lip Products from GOSH Cosmetics

As a lip addict, I have a LOT of lipsticks, I was very happy to try out these GOSH lip goodies. A lot of them are coming out in The Netherlands this autumn, so if you're Dutch: keep your eyes out for them!

I have four lipsticks, two lip liners and a lip brush. My ultimate favourite is definitely the bright, pink lipstick. Instant Lipstick Crush right there!

The black, matte packaging gives it a very luxury feeling. I love it when cheap make-up product can give you that high-end feeling.
The lipsticks itself are very buttery and moisturizing. They are nicely pigmented, but don't expect a full swap of colour. They are not very long lasting. When you eat or drink expect to touch up a lot! But I do really like them. They make my lips feel amazing and the colours are so pretty!

From left to right: 162 Nude, 155 Innocent, 156 Romance and 157 Precious. € 9,49 each

From left to right: 005 Flirty Orange and 002 Antique Rose. €7,79 each

Then on to the lip liners. I am very happy with the orange colour, since I needed one. They are both very pigmented and apply nicely. They are waterproof and I can agree with this! I had to use a cleansing oil to get it off. I actually love this. This way my orange lips will last all day! This will be a killer combo with MAC Morange.

The lip brush (€6,49) is a nice addition to my lipstick club. I think you have more control of applying your lipstick. Especially with darker colours it can be a bit tricky.. But not any more!

Review | MAC Pro Long Wear Concealer in NC15

On my hunt for the perfect concealer I came across the Pro Long Wear Concealer from MAC. A friend of mine used it and really liked it. I was lucky enough to get it for my birthday so there I went.. Is this going to be the one?

This is the second concealer from MAC that I am trying. I already have the MAC Studio Finish Concealer in my stash and I think that concealer is pretty good. I only get a very oily finish after a while. This one, on the other hand, is definitely different!

MAC Pro Long Wear Concealer 9 ml / 0.30 US fl oz €18.00

According to MAC:
‘‘A lightweight fluid concealer that provides medium to full coverage with a comfortable, natural matte finish. Colour-true formula lasts up to 15 hours. Helps conceal and correct the look of under-eye circles, and discolorations. Comes in a clear glass vial with a matte black pump.’’

Apart from the colour, this is NC15, it has a completely different formula. It comes in a glass bottle with a pump. Nice and hygienic, but you easily squeeze out to much. That is just a waste of product, so not very convenient. It has a scent, but is not to overpowering in any way.

This concealer has a creamy, liquid consistency. It blends very nicely into the skin, leaving a matte finish. It pretty much covers up anything!
In a lot of acne coverage videos on YouTube, girls used this as a foundation to cover up there blemishes and scarring. I agree with this. It definitely gives a good amount of coverage for all kinds of imperfections. Although as a foundation you would have to purchase it a lot throughout the year! This will not be very nice for your bank account..

As the name says it stays on your face for a long time. Of course I never wear my face make-up for 15 hours, but I think it would last all those hours. I also find my t-zone stays more matte than when I use the MAC Studio Finish Concealer. So I would definitely recommend this concealer for people with combination/oily skin.
I like to use my Zoeva Concealer Buffer to blend it in. It makes it easier and more hygienic than using my fingers.

I am pleasantly surprised by this concealer. It covers up all my imperfections and gives my skin a matte and flawless finish. If you are looking for a concealer that stays on for ages and covers up your scarring and blemishes, than this is the one to go for!

I am still on the hunt for good concealers, though. If you have found the one, please let me know. I would love to try it!

Review | Mac Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer in NW20

After I finished my well-loved Collection Lasting Perfection concealer I had no idea what I had to do without it. That concealer is amazing and so cheap. Unfortunately it’s only available in the UK, so I had to look for something else. I tried the NYX HD Concealer Wand  but I wasn't fully satisfied, with the Collection one in the back of my mind. This concealer from MAC is a YouTube classic and overall well-loved in the beauty community. It has been on my wishlist forever!

MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer in NW20. 7 g / 0.24 US oz. €18,-

According to MAC Cosmetics:
‘‘A lightweight, creamy, discreetly opaque concealer. Provides a smooth, long-wearing invisible coverage for all skin blemishes. Water-resistant, fragrance-free and non-blemishgenic. This emollient-based, lightweight concealer is so concentrated that a tiny amount can provide opaque coverage of the skin's imperfections and discolourations. It effectively covers dark circles, blemishes, moles, tattoos and birthmarks. Enriched with antioxidants (derivatives of Vitamin A and Vitamin E), it also contains Silica to help adsorb the skin's oils. Concealer has an SPF of 35 and is available in a wide range of colours.’’

I got matched with the colour NW20 which, for me, is the same as number 51 from the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation. With the summer coming up, and a tan hopefully, this suits me very well. It has a creamy consistency that blends into the skin perfectly.
Before buying it I heard that it’s exactly the same as the Full Coverage foundation from MAC. I was a big fan of that foundation two years ago and if you ask me, they are exactly the same. The only difference is the price, the amount and the SPF. A thing that you could do, if you love this concealer, is buy the Full Coverage foundation to use at home and the tiny Studio Finish concealer for touch-ups during the day.

The reason why I stopped using the Full Coverage foundation was because it looked cakey on me, from time to time. It also made me very oily during the day, so I switched to something else. This concealer does that as well. Of course you only place it on skin that needs more coverage, but still it’s not a nice look. If I don't powder it during the day I look like a shining disco bal. It lasts well, but after 8-9 hours some skin becomes more visible.

I placed a dot with an eyeliner and covered it with the concealer. If you look close you see a dark dot there.
All blended in. The dot is more visible now, but you can put more layers of concealer on top.
It gives really good coverage. if you have acne or scarring on your face, this will definitely cover it all up. I like to apply it with a concealer brush. For me this is more hygienic than putting your finger in the jar, every single day.
A little bit goes a long way and I think it will take a long time before I ran out. I also like that there is an SPF 35 in this creamy concealer. Blemishes and scars need more protection anyway, so this is a nice addition.

I do really like this concealer. As is said it gives good coverage, but can look a bit cakey and shiny at the end of the day. Bring a good powder and a setting spray and you are good to go!

Beauty Talk | Five Beauty Products I Can't Live Without

Recently I have been thinking. What if I can only keep five beauty products? What would I choose? I came to the conclusion that these five lifesavers really are my favourite products. I use them every day and as the title says: I can't live without them.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream
This is the most used product out of everything I own. I have to admit I am quite the lip balm junkie. Some people carry ten lipsticks around, for me its lip balm (I also carry a lot of lipsticks around in my bag, don't judge me!). My two favourites out all of them are the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream and a Dutch wonder called 'Purol'. These two make my lips so soft and moisturized. I have plenty of Eight Hour Creams around, so at the moment this is my absolute favourite!

MAC Pro Long Wear Concealer
Concealer is my BEST friend when it comes to make-up. I like to wear foundation, but it doesn't cover up everything. This concealer on the other hand has no problem with giving good coverage and a natural finish that last all day. I have the colour NC15 which matches me perfectly! Absolutely love it!

Catrice Matt Powder
A lifesaving product for girls with combination/oily skin, like me. During the day my t-zone gets oily and let’s just say that it doesn't look good. With the help of this powder I can keep my shine to a minimum. A few touch ups during the day and I am good to go!

Pixi Glow Tonic
After rediscovering this last month I cannot live without it anymore. I absolutely love the way this makes my skin feel and look! I don't get a lot of break outs anymore and it gives you a wonderful glow. Yep, the name of this beauty does what it says. I also saw that they sell it online. Hopefully they do ship to The Netherlands. Although a city trip to London does sound good right?
Catrice Eyebrow powder + Eyebrow Gel
I know that there are two of them, but I couldn’t choose. I love the way the brow powder makes my brows look fuller and thicker. The brow gel just keeps them in place and lifts them up. A perfect combo if you ask me.

Review | MAC Cranberry Eyeshadow

Last year I bought my MAC pallet. It is an eye-catcher in my make-up stash and I am very happy with it. The only problem: I need to fill it up. At the time I bought two eyeshadows: Naked Lunch and Satin Taupe. Two beautiful colours that work great together. I wear Naked Lunch alone or with a little bit of Satin Taupe threw the crease. It is the most beautiful and simple combination ever.
Every season there is a hype about an eyeshadow. In autumn everyone is blown away by MAC Cranberry. I have seen this eyeshadow before and thought it looked very scary. It is a dark reddish colour and I would have never thought in a million years I would wear something like that. I am more a nude-eye kind of girl, but Cranberry has always been on my wishlist.  My friend bought it for me as a present, since she knew how much I would like it. I went a bit crazy when I unpacked a MAC bag and found out this little pan was inside. I was a bit enthusiastic, and that is very underrated.

MAC Cranberry, as the name says, is a cranberry colour. It has a frost finish, just like Naked Lunch and Satin Taupe.
The photo's don't do this colour its justice. It looks like a reddish metallic when you swatch it. Very pretty!
It is very pigmented and you don’t have any fall-out when you apply it. This is nice since you don’t want to have red powder on your freshly applied face make-up.

I see myself wearing this in the crease of a brown smokey eye. I also saw someone using it as a crease colour in combination with a dark blue eye pencil and a brown eyeshadow. It looked very pretty.
I will experiment with the eyeshadow and find out which way I would use it and share my thoughts with you. Normally I don’t tend to go for heavy eye make-up, but since the festive days are coming up I have to give it a try.

How would you use MAC Cranberry?

Beauty | Empties #1

MAC Full Coverage Foundation in NC15

This is the first high-end foundation I ever bought. I wanted something with a little more coverage and in the right colour. So I decided to go to MAC, since they  have a very wide range of colours there.
I first used it as a foundation, but now I use it as an concealer. I do think that it can look a little cakey sometimes. So that’s why I wanted something lighter. The colour is a little bit to light for me, but with some bronzer that problem is solved. This foundation is perfect for when you have acne or scars on your face. I covers them up really well. You can apply it lightly for  medium coverage or heavy for full coverage. It is a very versatile product.
I would repurchase it, but honestly I want to try out the other MAC concealers first. So maybe in a couple of years.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation in 100 Ivory
I hated this at first. It made me look orange and it just wasn’t something for me. Untill I mixed it with Bourjois Healthy Mix and I fell in love with it. The colour is a bit too dark, but when you blend it down your neck it is not very noticeable. I have repurchased this one already and I would definitely do it again. Unfortunately they don’t sell it in stores anymore. At least I can’t find it. I also see it as a summer foundation, because of the glowy effect. So this will be my go to summer foundation.

Catrice Prime and Fine Translucent Loose Powder
I love this powder a lot. It keeps the shine away for a very long time. I hate to reapply powder so the fact that it does its job is amazing. I also have repurchased this one a lot. Right now I am trying there other matte powder. I have to say I am not a fan,  so right after I’ve finished that one I will buy this powder.

Maybelline The Rocket Mascara in Black Waterproof
This mascara is really really good. I think it holds the curl very well and it stays put for most of the days, since I can end up liking a raccoon with normal mascara. I will definitely repurchase this mascara over and over again.

Charles Worthington Hair Healer
At first I really liked this product. After a while it made the ends of my hair really dry and I stopped using it. A couple of months ago I went through my drawer and found it again. I have used it in combination with a drugstore hair oil and It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Spray. This really moisturizes my hair. I would not repurchase it again, since I have other hair products that work better.

Bioderma Créaline/Sensibio H20
The hype around this product is definitely worth it. It takes you make-up off very well. I used it more as a toner. Since it takes a lot of cotton pads to take off your foundation. I also had an allergic reaction, because I had to rub my make-up off. But as a toner it works fine. It takes off the make-up that is still left on my face. You can also use it as an eye make-up remover, but I do not really like it to use it for that. I would definitely repurchase it.

This is a serum that I absolutely love. It really puts moisture back in to your skin. If you have dry skin this will be the holy grail product for you. I have combination/oily skin, but in the colder months my skin always tends to be a little bit dryer. Only con: you cannot buy it in The Netherlands. But I would definitely repurchase this product if I could.

My holy grail cleanser. I takes of your make-up very well. I do not like to take of my eye make-up with this, but you can use it for that. It leaves my skin feeling very clean and soft. I would definitely repurchase it.

Kiehl's Ultra Oil Free Lotion
Another product that I have bought multiple times. It is a really good all-round moisturizer. It leaves my skin feeling moisturized and soft. It leaves your skin a little bit greasy though, but I can live with that. I would definitely repurchase it.

So these were all the empty products I have. I need to have a box where I can put in all my empty products. And of course not forget to put them in there.

Have you tried any of these products?

Favourites | October 2013

Beauty Favourites

Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips: Custom Eye in Nude

I always go for a nude eye, but since it is fall I wanted to go for a more dark smokey eye. The darker colours in this pallet are really good for that. The pigmentation is not amazing, but you can build it up very easily. Unfortunately it got smashed when I was travelling to London, but I can still use it. It had a good wide range of colours, so everyone can use it.

Sleek Face Form in Light

I absolutely have been loving this product in October. I think it is so handy that you have a contour powder, a highlighter and a blush in one kit. I have other bronzers that I use for contouring, but they always look a bit orange on me. This one however leaves a perfect contoured face. The highlighter is beautiful as well. It gives me a nice glow. The blush itself is beautiful. it reminds me a lot of Nars Orgasm. When I need to go away I always bring this product with me. Now I just need one product instead of three.

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in Nude Delight
I was looking for a new nude in my life and I found it! I saw this in a couple of YouTube videos and decided to buy it. It is a beautiful colour. It really moisturises my lips and it goes with everything.

Riri for MAC Lipstick in Riri Woo

I knew that when the Rihanna for MAC Collection came out I had to have at least something. Everything looked so pretty. I had my eyes on the lipstick Talk that Talk, a gorgeous dark purple lipstick. Unfortunately it was sold out everywhere. The lipstick Riri Woo was also hard to find, but I managed to get my hands on it. The colour is beautiful. It is really pigmented. Because it is a matte lipstick, the lasting power is amazing. It can be a bit drying though, but with some lipbalm you should cover that problem.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Lip Protectant

I have had this one for ages. I have used it for a while, but went back to my all-time favourite Purol. It is a Dutch product, so I don't think you can get it everywhere. But this is a good dupe for it. Or maybe the Purol is a good dupe, because it is like €3 when the Eight Hour Cream products are way more expensive. But I decided to use this product again, because my Purol ran out. And as a lipbalm junkie that I am, I decided to use up some products before I started buying new ones.
It moisturises my lips very well. It is a great product although I have one con and that is the packaging. You have to be really careful with opening and closing the lid. I have another one of these and I can't open it anymore because the lid is stuck. So beware!

Syoss Volume Dry Shampoo

I love the textured hair trend that is going on right now. I would love to use the Oribe Dry Texturising Spray, but since it is really expensive and I have to order it from the UK I decided to find one that was cheap and a little bit closer to home.
This one is really good, I try not to wash my hair everyday anymore. I know that it is bad but I just love the feeling of freshly washed hair. This one comes in really handy in the second day when my  hair starts to get a little bit greasy. It is great for adding more volume. I absolutely love this product!

Face Brush

I bought this product probably about two years ago. I wanted a Clarisonic, but since it is expensive I wanted to try out a cheaper version. I used it to much I think, because my skin got red and irritated. Since then I have never used it. But last month I decided to use it just at night and very gentle. I have to say, this product is amazing! My skin feels so soft and clean. I cannot believe I stopped using it after one bad experience. I you want the Clarisonic but you're not sure yet, just try out this ''dupe''.

Songs:

Little Mix - Move

This song is so catchy and it's been on repeat for about three weeks right know. I can't wait to hear there new album!

Ariana Grande - Yours Truly Album

I love every song on this album. I still have some favourites though. I love Honeymoon Avenue, Right There, Lovin' it and Piano. I think she has an amazing voice. It is also really exciting that she will be backstage at the MTV EMA'S in Amsterdam. Unfortunately I didn't get tickets, so I will watch the show in front of the tv. :(

TV Shows:

Glee

I was a huge Glee addict, but when season four came I suddenly did not watch it anymore. You had to wait like a month for a new episode and I just stopped watching it. At the beginning of October I really wanted to get into it again. I love the fact that Demi Lovato is in Glee and I really wanted to see the tribute episode to Cory. I loved every episode and I will be catching up with every episode from now on.

PLL/ Ravenswood

How amazing was the Halloween episode right. I was like OMG all the time. I won't spoil a thing so you have to watch it for yourself. Now we have to wait till January for a new PLL, but we still have an episode of Ravenswood every week. I really like the show. It is a bit creepy and scary sometimes, at least for me, but I find everything scary. I do find that the storyline of Caleb is sort of created for the show. I don't know but why would he stay with Miranda? He just met her on the bus, isn't that weird. Well we see how the show develops.

What are your October favourites?
