My Spring Make-Up Look

The sky is blue and the sun is shining; this can only mean one thing: spring is finally here. I am very happy with the warm sunshine on my skin and the happy colours that go with it. I do really like snuggly sweaters and a dark, purple lip, but the cold weather is something that I do not like at all. I am happy that I can finally pull out my bright lipsticks and sandal shoes to complete my spring look.
That’s why today I have filmed my Spring Make-Up Look. I have been wearing this look non-stop and I am in love with the blush and the lipstick. They are both amazing!

Lemon Drizzle Cake

A weekend is not complete without baking some yummy treats and since I am all in for new recipes I decided to bake a Lemon Drizzle Cake. When Anna, aka Viviannadoesmakeup, made this cake last year, I knew that I had to make it myself. It looked so good and since I love cake it was a match made in heaven. Now it’s finally time for me to bake it and can I just say that this is one of the best cakes I have ever tasted. It’s AMAZING!

What do you need?
225g Unsalted Butter (In the original recipe it was salted butter, but I didn’t do that)
225g Caster Sugar
275g Self-Raising Flour
1tsp Baking Powder
4 large Eggs
4tbsp Milk
Grated Zest of 2 Lemons
Juice of 2 Lemons
175g Granulated Sugar

First, set your oven to 180°C.
The best thing about this recipe is that it’s super easy to make. Put the butter, caster sugar, self-raising flour, baking powder, eggs, milk and grated zest in a large bowl and mix it all together with an electric whisk until the mixture is smooth.
Grease a baking tray (round or square); this way you can get the cake out very easily. You could also line it with baking parchment, but I ran out of that (I am so well prepared haha). Put the mixture in the baking tray and make sure that the mixture is evenly spread. Put it in the oven for 40 minutes.
After 40 minutes you take the cake out of the oven and out of the baking tray, so it can cool down. While the cake is cooling down you can make the delicious lemon glaze. Put the granulated sugar in a bowl and add the lemon juice gradually to the mixture until it becomes a paste. I added a bit too much lemon juice, so be careful with that.
Then put some holes in the cake with a knife, so the drizzle can soak into the cake. Now it’s time to put the glaze on top of the cake. Make sure it’s spread evenly on top and wait for it to set.

Now your heavenly Lemon Drizzle Cake is done! Enjoy this yumminess with a cup of tea and you’re happy as can be! :)

What's In My Make-Up Bag?

I have many make-up products, but my favourites and my most used products are obviously in my make-up bag. I bought this make-up bag a couple of months ago and it sort of represents my love for macarons, and make-up of course.
I am always interested in what other people use. From a peek in their make-up bag you can immediately find out what their miracle products are for flawless skin and voluptuous lips. Today you will get a peek in my make-up bag and find out which products are my faves!
