Review | Tanya Burr Lipgloss in Let’s Travel The World

Tanya Burr was one of the first people I ever subscribed to on YouTube. That’s why I think it is so cool she has her own lipgloss and nail polish line.
I am normally not a lipgloss person but I wanted to give it a try. Unfortunately feelunique.com didn’t ship the nail polishes to my country, so I just bought the lipgloss.

Tanya Burr Lipgloss in Let’s Travel the World   £6,99   8ml

As is said I am not really a lipgloss fan. I used to when I was little, but nowadays I prefer to wear lipstick. You all know I love a red lip. The only problem I find with red lipstick is that it looks amazing when I leave the house and when I look in a mirror a couple hours later it is all smudged. I thought this lipgloss could change that. It will give my lips a nice red finish, but I can still eat normally without ending up looking like a clown.

The packaging is really simple, but classic. I like that when you close the lipgloss the gloss doesn’t come out of the lid. I don’t know if I just have this problem with lipglosses or that it is a common thing.
The scent of the lipgloss is really out there. It is very fruity and smells like strawberries. After you applied it on the lips you hardly notice it though. Or maybe I am just getting used to the scent.
The formula of the lipgloss is beautiful. It is hydrating and glossy, but not sticky. The red colour is very pretty and buildable. You can build up the colour from a subtle red sheen to a full red glossy lip.
I also find it very long lasting. After eating you have to reapply though, but that is a common lip product thing. The only problem I have is that my hair sticks on my lips. So that means ponytails and up-do’s for me when I wear this lipgloss.

To be honest I really like it. I had to order it because Tanya Burr designed them, but I never expected to like it as much as I do right now. I have worn it every day since it came in the mail last week.
I should have ordered more lipglosses, ‘Vampire Kiss’ and ‘Aurora’ look amazing as well. This lipgloss may be the reason why I am back into my lipgloss phase, so look out for more featured lipglosses on my blog.

Have you tried anything from Tanya Burr Lips and Nails?
