Molton Brown Vintage 2015 Body Lotion

A few months ago the company where I do my internship was invited to a Molton Brown Christmas event and I was the lucky one to go to it. Was it a bit weird to go to a Christmas themed event mid-August? Yes, but it was also very exciting, because the festive season is my favourite time of the year. I didn't mind the decorated tree and the gorgeous room where the event was held at all.

I was lucky enough to keep one of the products and that's what I am talking about today: the limited edition Molton Brown Vintage 2015 Body Lotion with Elderflower (€32,00). Let’s start off with the scent that is absolutely divine. It is like nothing I ever smelled before and I really like it. This also means I can't really compare it with anything, so you really have to pop into a Molton Brown store and smell it, but believe me it's totally worth it! I also have the fragrance notes here:

Top note: grapefruit
Heart note: petitgrain
Base note: vetiver
Extract: English elderflower

The body lotion comes in this handy bottle with a pump which makes it really easy to moisturize your body. Especially for people who forget to moisturize or who are just too lazy for it (aka me). The body lotion itself is really nice and melts into the skin. It moisturizes the skin very well and leaves it ultra-soft and super smooth.

I can't be happier with this body lotion! It really moisturizes the skin and the scent is just absolutely amazing. I know it's a bit expensive in comparison with your regular body lotion, but I think it makes it the ultimate Christmas gift. If you haven't popped this beauty on your wish list then you definitely should!

Going Christmas Shopping

December always makes me feel very festive. Even though our Christmas tree isn't up yet, I've already played the Michael BublĂ© Christmas album a million times. Something I also love to do is going to a garden centre and look at all the Christmas decorations and maybe even buy some of the gorgeous ornaments.

I didn't pick up a lot, only two cacti and some ribbons (they will look lovely in blog photos), but I did take some photos of all the Christmas festivity!

Zoella Beauty All That Glimmers

When I was browsing Feel Unique, about a month ago, I came across the Zoella Beauty range. I already own the body mist of both ranges, but out of curiosity I started looking and found some items I had never seen before, including Zoella All That Glimmers. I really wanted to find a bit more information about the product before deciding that it had to be mine, but there was no information to be found on the interwebs. So I thought: why won’t I write something about it?

It’s a round box, completely in Zoella style. Whilst opening the box I found a cute puff with the sparkly powder inside of it. I was quite surprised, because I expected it to be like in the movies. Where you dab the puff in the powder and apply it. Maybe this is just me, but that would have been really, really cool.

The powder is white, has teeny tiny sparkles inside and is scented with the original Zoella Beauty scent. I’ve taken a whiff at both Zoella ranges and I have to say the original scent is my favourite, so this is a big plus for me.

It's been quite some time since I bought the shimmering powder and I can say that I don’t like it as much. Although the puff with the lace detail looks lovely I don't really use this product very often. Maybe now that the Christmas season is upon us I will be using a sparkly powder more often, but even then I would have no idea where to apply it.

Maybe this is one of those products where it's just not something for me. I am a huge fan of the rest of the Zoella range, but this is just not my thing.

Have you tried the Zoella All That Glimmers before?
