The year 2015 has come to an end and as some people
hate the whole goals/ resolutions thing, I really like it. There is just
something about a new year and starting fresh with twelve months in front of
you.
In 2015 I learned a lot of things about myself and had
a peek inside the publishing world. I got to interview a lot of amazing people
and those articles got published as well. How crazy is that?
I want 2016 to really be 'my year'. Of course everyone
says that, and by the time it's December they sometimes come to the conclusion
that it maybe wasn't 'their year'. There is a possibility that this could
happen to me too, but I really like to look at it in a positive way. I can't
wait to see what 2016 has in store for me!
My goals:
Do more things alone
With this I'm more thinking about 'going to the cinema
alone', 'travel alone' and 'eat in a restaurant alone'. I think everyone is
always so used to be with someone when they do those things, but it's good to
step outside your comfort zone and experience things on your own.
Travel more
Starting with my trip to London this Saturday! Besides
my yearly London trips I really want to visit other places. New York and
Copenhagen are already on my wish list and I really hope I can take those trips
this year.
Blog more
In December I did Blogmas and even though I found it
quite hard to blog every single day, it also opened my eyes to how much I love
creating content and that I should do it more often. I want to be more
consistent with my blogposts and with YouTube as well. I have been neglecting
making videos a lot. Mainly because my editing software broke and what is the
point of filming videos when you can't edit them? Luckily this will all be
solved this month. *jumps up and down out of excitement*
Be more active
This is such a cliché, but working out really is on
the top of my to-do list. I did some Kayla Itsines work-outs last year, but
stopped when I got too busy. This year I will be back to it. Bikini body here I
come!
What are your goals for 2016?
These all sound like great goals, I totally agree with you about doing more stuff alone, I think people get really self conscious about doing that. It's great that your articles got published too!
